Being aroace (especially if you're sex or romance repulsed like me) in a fandom and asking for fanfic recs is pretty much a death sentence 95% of the time. You tell people "I don't read smut or romance because I'm aroace, so if you have fics that aren't smutty or romantic, that would be amazing!" and then people think you're an asshole for being picky with your fanfiction. Personally, I can be a little picky with fanfiction that I read (especially if there are grammar mistakes everywhere), but I'm also a sex-repulsed ace and get disgusted by smut to the point where I actually gag. And I have always been uncomfortable with over-the-top PDA in a lot of romance fics, but as soon as I let other people know about this suddenly I'm the asshole who is overly picky of fanfiction and "missuses" fanfiction?! I'm done with this hate on 1, picky fanfic readers, and 2, sex-repulsed aroaces. It needs to stop. People have different tastes and that's okay, so stop judging me on my tastes.

Okay, so everyone is making headcanons about Kai staying in the land of monsters for longer than just a few weeks (which can range from three to nine weeks)(with the theory being that monstrosity happened before Kai and Lloyd reunite) and I want to add my headcanons to the list.

What if the time between the first Merge and Kai and Lloyd reuniting was a few weeks for Lloyd but it was longer for Kai. What if time works differently in the Land of Monsters and he was actually there for longer? I think we all saw that part of the trailer where the land was turned on its side and Kai just jumps off the trunk of the tree, falling parallel to GROUND and GRASS!! The Monster Realm is weird, and what if the passage of time includes that? Like he’s so confused when he sees Lloyd because he swears it’s been months of him fighting to get back home but Lloyd says it’s only been a few weeks and he has to rethink everything. Also, all the Realms are merging, but what is the effect that it has on time and space? We can see lots of destroyed ships in the background of the trailer, which leads me to wonder if that happened because of the Merge, and if so, how? Was it the r merge or the monsters? There is so much potential here guys!! I’m not crazy I swear!!

Also a second headcanon!! What if Kai couldn’t tell how time was passing in the Land of Monsters? The series is in black and white and red, but the sky is just slightly different shades of gray for day and night, so if Kai—for the longest time—can’t tell how time is passing? He’s tired and thinks he’s been in the Monster Land for a long time and realizes when he meets Lloyd that he was only gone for a few weeks! Fire boy is like “no, I counted how many times I fell asleep and woke up and it was not XY number of days?!” And Lloyd is just like: “🤓actually no, I watched the sun rise YX number of days… so I’m actually right.”

These headcanons are purely based on the theory that Monstrosity takes place before he reunites with Lloyd. I don’t think it was confirmed when it was as the trailer description says monstrosity happened after he reunited with Lloyd but apparently the main guy on bluesky said it happened before Lloyd and Kai reunited so I don’t know anymore. I still think it happened after Kai and Lloyd reunited because that would make more sense to me…

Edit: How time flows/moves is mainly determined by gravity and space (that I know of, but I might be an idiot), so if the realms colliding is causing change in gravity and space, then there is surely going to be some severe consequences to this.

I just finished the first season of Teen Wolf (skipping a lot of make out scenes and the like) and I have to say…

WHY IS SCOTT SUCH A BAD FRIEND?!?!?! Like, seriously!!! As soon as Scott gets a girlfriend, he treats Stiles—his best friend since forever—like their friendship doesn’t matter anymore!! He makes Stiles do all this crap for him because he’s a werewolf now who wants to kill his best friend but when Stiles asks something of him, he can’t even do that!!! Not to mention he made out with Lydia right after Stiles asked him to shock out of Lydia was into him or not!! Scott is actually such a dummy and a horrible friend!! Maybe it’s because I’m aroace and sex-repulsed, but I would NEVER ditch my best friend or treat them the way Scott treats Stiles for my bf/gf, especially if they were a friend like Stiles who always has your back even when your problems invade their life and make them suffer your consequences.

And what’s with the Stiles hate in the show? He makes perfect grades, so why do all the teachers hate him and crap on him? He’s very intelligent, makes brilliant plans, notices things before anyone else and yet no one listens to him, no one believes in him, no one cares, and everyone thinks he’s stupid. (Also, Stiles is so real, I love it so much. He reacts like how a regular person would react in almost any scenario.) His mother died when he was young and he hasn’t been the same since, and his father is a busy cop, and his friend is a werewolf who ditches him at every moment just to make out with Allison; his life is filled with people who don’t do sh-t for him and who couldn’t care less about him (except his dad). Also, this is the same Stiles that accepted that Lydia didn’t have feelings for him yet let her go to be with Jackson and also fought for her and wanted to make sure she was okay and taken care of. HE IS A GOLDMINE I AM TELLING YOU HE IS GOOD YOU GUYS—

Aside from those things (and Derek never explaining anything—I could kill this man I swear, the amount of problems he makes by not explaining shi—) I really like the series and I can’t wait to watch season 2 and 3, the supposed best seasons of Teen Wolf.

Also, Stiles is the goat of Teen Wolf so far.

Just finished season two of Teen Wolf and it was better than season one in the most satisfying way… but Derek and Scott never change. Also, Stiles is STILL the goat and I freaking love him so much he is the literal perfect friend and has the one attribute in friendship people don’t have anymore: loyalty. I also didn’t realize how many audios and memes came from Teen Wolf, like “No Stiles,” or that whole speech Stiles gave about drowning to his councilor (which lowkey broke my heart, my poor boy needs his friends but they’re never there for him😭😭💔). And Stiles hallucinating that his dad actually hated him during Lydia’s party was so freaking sad I can’t😭😭😭💔💔 Scott can’t even relate because he is a werewolf AND SURVIVED A FREAKING BULLET AHOT FROM LIKE THREE FEET AWAY LIKE DUDE!!!?!?!?!? And Allison can’t say anything because she knows that Scott will choose her over Stiles any day (which is such bullsh*t by the way that NO MATTER the situation, Scott always chooses Allison. It seriously gets on my nerves) but Stiles has NO ONE who will protect him! He is defenseless and should have so much freaking trauma along with Lydia. Can you tell Stiles has quickly become my favorite?

Genuine question, why do the betas act and borderline look like feral beasts that are getting tortured medieval style? Like when Dereck locked them up in the subway and had the torture circlet on Erica was CRAZY, like I was shocked. AND WHY DOES DERECK DO THE THINGS HE DOES LIKE HE NEVER EXPLAINS ANYTHING AND MAKES EVERYONE FEEL UNSAAAAAAFE!!! Also, why is Scott not an omega??? He doesn’t belong to a pack apparently??? Like I don’t even know anymore dude, some things are confusing. I also felt like this season was pretty slow, but that might have been from the LACK OF INFORMATION *STARING AT DERECK*!!!!!

Anyway, loved this season, especially the villains. S tier villains.

First I see plasma moments on tumblr from the new season and then I see Teshie arts and my friend turns to the plasma side ALL IN THE SAME DAY

AND I DONT DO SHIPS BY THE WAY!!! I’M AROACE!! THIS IS NEW AND WEIRD FOR ME!! THIS HAPPENED OVERNIGHT A FEW WEEKS AGO AND NOW IT HAS TAKEN A DEEP HOLD OF MY BRAIN!!! I DONT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS😭😭😭

MONSTROSITY LETSGOOO

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! BE WARNED

Just watched it and I was not disappointed!! It was incredible!! Loved it! So what I’m going to do is not post an analysis as I’m sure many others will, but instead point out the things that stood out to me.

1). He knows an important Dragon (guys I didn’t watch Dragon’s Riding don’t judge me😭😭😭)

2). This likely takes place after he sees Lloyd seeing as he mentions a lot about how much time has passed (mentioned in False Light when Kai is talking to the mech whose name I forgot💀). Also, he is well versed with the natural elements in what I’m calling Land of Lost Monsters, which he definitely had to spend A LOT of time learning how NOT to die and what signifies an animal coming and what doesn’t. It is clear in the first two minutes that Kai is VERY familiar with the monsters and tell-tale signs of danger. These are LEARNED behaviors, guys!! (I can smell the monstrosity fics awaiting in the future, that’s how strong the smell is, I Can Smell Through Time).

3). Okay, so I’ve had this theory for a while and it’s based on nothing—especially since I haven’t seen Dragon’s Rising—but what if each realm has their own version of the Elemental Masters? Like we see a bubble guy at one point and a balance guy and we see Wildfire—what if these are the other realms versions of the og Elements from the FSM? Like how Bubble guy is kinda like Water and Balance guy is kinda like Earth? Maybe I’m stupid and there’s information as for why this isn’t the case or maybe this has already been explained, but TWO masters of fire? Isn’t that supposed to be impossible? Also we KNOW Ray can’t make a mech that’s kinda like Zane and Pixal, it has to be a DIFFERENT Elemental Fire Master, and I think that this is an Elemental Master of Fire that is of a different Realm.

4). The centipede thing was a bit strange and I have a few theories. Number one is that this is a curse written specifically for the previous Fire Master and that’s why the images on the wall were so specific, because someone or SOMETHING was trying to get rid of him and it succeeded. Number two, the image is irrelevant to the centipede and it depicts a curse of the monstrous centipede that devours people and those people become the new centipede. And as we can see, there are eggs in an infinity symbol, so someone will eventually get captured, turned into an egg, and be changed into a monster as the mech stated that people who came into the cave were not found again. They probably died in the egg or there has been an everlasting loop of eggs in the shape of the OG centipede or he eats the new centipedes or smth, maybe. Last one, the theories on tumblr, the most common one of it just being symbolism and not anything specific, but I personally don’t think this is likely.

5). Why does it look like the Sword of Fire is plunged into the ground beside the hat in the scene where the mech wakes up? Why does it kinda look like the sword of fire?!??

6). Kai just reforges a weapon from nothing but his fire and a hammer?! Crazy. He had to get THAT good if he just reforges a random weapon in the middle of his personal apocalypse. Like “oh, you need your weapon fixed? Let me do that in seven seconds!” Like DANG BOI!!

7). Animation was fabulous. Loved it!<3 It kinda felt like Hollow Knight! The designs of everything looked great too. Love how Kai’s little compass works.

8). This is more of a question, but Dragons give fire power now? How much did I miss that the fandom hasn’t said?

9). False Light was insane; so monsters can just do that now?! Absolutely crazy! Not to mention that all these monsters look like nightmare material! Like we have snakes bigger than mountains, huge mountain man, harpy thing with four wings, skeletons EVERYWHERE, the UNDEAD?!?!?! WHERE DOES IT END?!?!

10). Last one. Kai is so desperate to get to his home that he grows a tunnel vision—which is understandable considering the circumstances—to make seeing his family his ONLY goal. He goes so far as to get annoyed at the mech with no purpose, ditch him, and try to drown in a lake in an effort to see his family. He would have died if it wasn’t for the mech, which was a really touching moment. It was nice to see how energy and emotions influenced the colors in the short film! Loved it!

11). Kai left with the Dragon. WHERE IS SHE NOW?! I want to know where she went! Will we see her again? Kai got out and they left together, so I would LOVE to know what happens to her after this!

12). Also—last one this time, I promise—WHY IS KAI SO STRONG?!?! HOW DOES HE JUST DEFEAT A HUGE AH WATER MONSTER IN ONE SWIPE?!?! CRAZY HOW OP HE IS?!?! The Land of Lost Monsters really did him well on upping his skill stats.

I just gotta rant here for a minute about the intolerance of society…

Why do we force people to like things they don’t like, in real life and in fiction? The reason I’m bringing this up is bc I see a lot of comments about Jax’s reaction to wearing a maid dress that sound like “it’s bc he secretly likes it” or “he doesn’t want to admit it” or “his manliness keeps him from liking it.” WHY is his reaction bad to people?!?! There are plenty of guys and girls who don’t like dresses, almost my entire family and extended family doesn’t like dresses (except me), and do I tell them that they are insecure about their masculinity or denying/hiding their femininity?? FREAKING NO!! BECAUSE THATS AN ASSHOLE MOVE!!! People can have preferences and things they just REALLY don’t like. I see this kind of behavior and talk a lot, stop trying to make other people similar to you. Stop trying to take away people’s preferences and opinions just because they aren’t like yours. “Why are you reacting like this to these comments about Jax? It’s just people talking.” It’s not the comments about Jax, but the ones I see everywhere that tell people how they should be. Lore and trauma dump: I would hear a lot as a kid (from adults and my peers) that I “would be better as a boy because I climb trees” or that I was “too girly because I wore dresses.” Do you know how messed up that is to tell an 11 - 14 year old ADHD girl?? It was VERY damaging!! I had an identity crisis at TWELVE FREAKING YEARS OLD!!

Bottom line, PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN TO LEAVE OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINIONS AND PREFERENCES ALONE!!! Don’t force others to think or like the same things you do. Everyone is different, meaning everyone’s preferences and opinions are different. We might not agree with them, but we can respect the people while also acknowledging that you don’t understand or agree with their preferences, opinions, decisions, or even religion. Being so different and unique is what makes us so human, so stop trying to strip humanity away from other people.

I have friends that are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, straight, gay, bi, weebs, bookworms, goth, old-fashioned (I don’t know how else to describe her💀), anti-social, Amish; all of my friends are people whom I respect regardless of race, religion, political views, sexual identity, or personality. Stop trying to make everyone like you and stop trying to get rid of people’s individuality and personality.
