Hey everyone! So you might had got into GSearch today and saw this:

I once did a Blue period chapter's cover info post. (here it is if you missed it 😊) So I thought why not, now that google insist (?) make an other, because I don't know if you blue period lovers recognized a picture there?....yesss!!! one of them was tribute by Yamaguchi sensei as a chapter cover. Not the only one from this artist, but, I will talk about it on an other post, now I will talk about this particular picture.

This is the original:

Called "The Art of painting" by Johannes Vermeer, (you can also find it as Painter in his Studio) It was painted around 1660ish, and it's an Oil on canvas painting.

(I'm only assuming she based herself on these pictures, only because they seem so very much alike in....well... everything lol)

I don't think, there are paintings, that do not hide meanings and symbols in it, and this is no different, you have the painter ( I can't assure you it's Vermeer himself there, not all artist put themselves in the painting, like for example Velásquez did) the model, the map on the wall (in those days map making was quite a thing, not many of those maps survive) and, you might observe that many of his painting included something like a curtain or fabric in it, or a tree (?) on the either right or left of the picture to "frame" the composition, this is a resource that was used by many baroque artist, and it's the inclusion of an object that makes the viewer "get in" the painting.

So Sensei put Hashida as the painter, which I find it quite interesting, and in this chapter, he does have a roll to play. Mostly for the last part the chat with Yatora. (or at least so I see it, if you don't think the same way, just ignore what I say lol)

for a little more about this picture, it belongs to the Baroque period... and...... I basically have nothing else to say .. 😂😅😆

An other Vermeer paint is tribute by Yamaguchi sensei, and Has Yatora in it, but I'll talk about it later, cause otherwise this post will last forever, and...I'm hungry 🤤.
