No filter needed for this golden beauty. Easy apple cake * 4 Small Apples chopped into cube like piece * 6 Eggs * 1/2 cup Raw Sugar * 1 cup Melted Unsalted Butter * 2 cup Plain, All-Purpose Flour * 1 cup Self Raising Flour * 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder * 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon optional * 1 pinch Salt Instructions * Preheat your oven on 180'C
Grease or line a 20cm/8inch round Springform Pan with baking paper.
* Melt the Unsalted Butter in the microwave and set aside to cool down.
* Peel, Core and Cut the Apples into small cubes. Set aside.
* In a large mixing bowl, whisk the Eggs and Brown Sugar until foamy. Add the melted butter and stir until combined.
* Whisk in the dry ingredients: Plain Flour, Baking Powder and Salt (and optionally Ground Cinnamon)
* Pour 1/3 of the cake batter into the lined/grease pan then add a layer of chopped apple, layer another 1/3 of the batter then again too with the apple, use the last of the batter and apple then bake for approximately 30-45 minutes or until the tip of a knife comes out clean.
* Serve warm with Whipped Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream, or leave to cool down completely.
Optional: dust with a little bit of Icing Sugar and/or Cinnamon Powder.
