🌹🕯️ Red Roses at Her Feet — A Devotional of Self-Love & Healing
Tonight, I come gently.
Not asking for a lover.
Not asking to be chosen.
Not asking to be saved.
I come to reclaim myself.
I lay red roses at her feet —
each petal a promise
to speak to myself with tenderness,
to hold my own heart without judgment,
to stop abandoning myself for crumbs of affection.
The roses are soft,
but their thorns remind me:
love is not meant to wound me into silence.
Love is meant to protect my spirit.
Crimson Mother,
wrap me in your scarlet veil of restoration.
Where I have been drained, refill me.
Where I have doubted, steady me.
Where I have overgiven, teach me sacred boundaries.
Let my heart heal without rushing.
Let my nervous system learn peace again.
Let my reflection feel like home.
I do not beg for devotion anymore.
I become devotion —
to my growth,
to my body,
to my becoming.
These roses are not offerings of desperation.
They are offerings of return.
Return to self.
Return to worth.
Return to sovereign love.
🌹🕯️
Red roses for the heart I’m healing.
Sacred love begins with me.
