1/2 There is a universe out there where after Bruce accused Jason of killing Gonzalez (which he didn't) Jason left and rather Shiva claimed him as her own and he somewhat joined the League (not to kill but learn) or Jason left not for a mother but for a new life (which he still got Assassin training from someone) Then without a Robin Bruce died within a year or few. Tim didn't think Batman needed a Robin because Bruce didn't spiral from Jason's death.
2/2 Then when things went bad in Gotham without Batman Jason came back to try to help. He wanted to see what happened to Bruce. When he saw Dick and Dick blamed him saying he left Bruce without backup and now he was dead Jason explained how he was fired for a crime he did not commit. And before Jason arrived in Gotham Tim had the talk with Dick about Batman and Robin (Part of the reason Dick was blaming Jason. Easier to Blame him than himself). But Dick refused Batman son Tim went to Jason next.
**************
Personally, I don’t think that Dick would be a person to ever blame Jason for leaving Bruce - after all, who else could have understood better how unbearable Bruce could get and how stifling he was, to the point when escape seemed like the best idea. And he’d not blame Jason for Bruce dying on the job - hell, Dick knew how terrible Batman’s approach to working alone and so one was.
On another note, I don’t think that Lady Shiva would let him out of becoming a killer... baby Jay never wanted to kill people, assassin job would be the worst thing for him, but Shiva is merciless and he’d have to either relent or run. I think that Jay-who-never-died wouldn’t allow himself to be pushed to the point Jay-after-death has been pushed to.
I think that it would be interesting ifDick didn;t want to become Batman, and Jay was away, and Tim - small and determined - decided that Gotham needed someone and began his own superheroing business, that at some point Alfred decided to support, because Jesus, this boy won;t stop and needs guidance:O
And, when Jay comes back to Gotham he’s confronted with Dick trying and failing to convince the baby-Batman to stop and go home please stop child, pleaseTAT
And, obviously, the boy needs to either have his leg broken in two places or to be protected from certain death. Sigh. Jay is tired just by watching.
Tim saves himself

You are not Master Wayne.
Let’s watch the city burn.
This is like all the worst parts of me in one person.
incogneat-oh replied to your post: Anymore Batman!Tim prompts?
…Batman’s legendary rivalry with the Red Hood? If u want?
(hi ilu <3)
‘You’ll have to be quicker then that, Batman,’ The voice crooned in his ear, mean and mocking through the com link.
Tim makes quick work Mario Estrada and Cass was busy cleaning up the three guys he was working with. The monkeys in the back are screaming, clanging on the bars of their cages, but they’ll be okay. He already called animal control and the exotic animals will all be taken to sanctuaries to ensure their safety and survival.
The man he’s apprehending is unconscious so he’s being fast and loose with his bedside manner.
‘Time is ticking, Drake, you have to be better then this.’ the man sounds disappointed and that Tim turns to Cass and she motions him that she can handle it from here.
“Good work, Batman,” She calls out and it feels good coming from her. He gets a little shock down his spine from it and it urges him to move faster and better.
‘Bruce would already be here. Dick would already be here-’
He doesn’t turn his speed down once, tearing out of the hanger at a full sprint, and sliding onto his bike in one seamless motion.
‘You’re going to blow it, just like you blow everything, kid.’
Todd won’t win, not this time, not again.
Tim makes it to the Ironbound in six minutes, which should theoretically be impossible, but a M12 GTO engine and traffic control is magic.
The garage next to his loft is a convenience more then anything, but it’s quick access to the basement of the theater, means his entire trip was under 12 minutes, and he has the luxury to race up to his living area in full gear, unclipping the cape to increase stealth, because he knows that Jason is up there -
-his feet echo as they pound on the hardwood floor on the upper level, they turn him into the main living space and god, Jason is sick -
“God dammit, Jason!” It’s even worse then he thought, “Can’t you just save me one god damn slice of pizza?!”

It’s probably a good thing that I don’t write for DC because everything would be a giant joke lol
