Considering Smallville was just a "small" out of the way town, it had many visitors include heroes that Superboy would work with in the future. In the Supergirl story (her second visit) Kara tries to prove she could successfully maintain a secret identity (she fails). In the next Superboy helps a young Oliver Queen improve his aim. Green Arrow was a regular backup feature in Adventure at that time. The Robin story is weird - in the future Superman actually dies from wound suffered from an exploding clock. Robin travels back to the past to figure out which clock it is and destroy it long before it can harm the man of steel. He succeeds and creates a time paradox that destroys the universe (I added that last bit). In the last story with young Bruce Wayne, because of a time scope Superboy knows he will work with Batman in the future. He tries to help inspire Bruce to create the Batman identity when the millionaire teen visits Smallville.
