-> IAT: Neither. Dude can't drink coffee and tea takes too long. He's an impatient fuck. Kerosene or petroleum in his cup is all he needs to help him power through
-> Radical: Tea. Dude shouldn't be trusted with coffee. He's already energetic enough. He doesn't need more energy.
Nic: Coffee. She gives me a black coffee or straight espresso kinda vibe. Nice and classy
Oswald: Coffee. His canon coffee order is black coffee with two lumps of sugar
Peri and Gale: probably tea. Not a lot is known about them (plural)
Reala: Tea. Cuz brit lol. And since they're connected to dreams and more teas help with sleep than coffee does. Although dealing with NiGHTS makes him wish she could have a taste of coffee.
Zavok: Blood or tea. "I prefer blood over water." And his master is very shifu/sensei coded and has most likely drilled the proper way to make and prepare tea into Zavok's skull
Now, to this month's subject: Disability Pride. I have a lot of f/os who are canonically or I headcanon as disabled
N Gin canonically has severe brain damage and chronic migraines. That rocket destroyed a solid portion of the right half of his brain. And he has a cybernetic arm in the most modern two games (IAT and Team Rumble). Also his brain damage is much MUCH worse in the Radical Era, too. I'm toying with the idea of him having some kind of personality disorder (caused by both his past and worsened by the rocket) or just simply brain damage-induced psychosis, as well, but that's not set in stone rn.
Nic is blind in one eye. In canon (or what was supposed to be canon but didn't make the cut), she was killed off screen from a shoot off with her brother. She survived it in my take but lost an eye.
Most takes of Penguin are disabled in some way shape or form. Be it a limp (from a fucked up leg or hip), lack of dexterity in his hands cuz of syndactyly, or simply being too short for every day life. DCAU and Returns Oswald have the limp and syndactyly (ignoring the fact that TNBA Oz has normal hands. People headcanon he got surgery on his hands). But 04 Penguin has the syndactyly and lack of height problem. He's half a foot shorter than the other two birds. He can't even drive without the Kabuki Twins. And uses his ravens to help him with daily tasks. I say he doesn't have the limp because he is just too damn dexterous.
Peri and Gale are both on the mute spectrum. They speak through morse code with their claws tapping and scratching on surfaces or soft hisses.
Reala, to me, had C-PTSD and chronic pain. With how much trauma that Wizeman put them through both physically and mentally, they aren't coming out completely unscathed even with the fact they can bounce back after every single encounter. And I say chronic pain because I've seen a few headcanons regarding the grey bandages on their Journey of Dreams design being compression tape used to deal with chronic pain.
(If anyone in the comments who have any of the disabilities that could tell me their experiences with them in the comments that would be awesome. I really want to learn more about it so I can write it as best as I could. I only have ADHD and Autism and some experience with people with PTSD, severe migraines, and chronic pain; immediately family suffers from all three)
Just to say this, I am not villainizing these disbilties just because I'm headcanoning villains with them. Most of my f/os turn evil either from their past, a single breaking point in their life made them evil, or were created/born evil. I am just a disabled bat who loves villains, is all.

So onto Nic. Personally, i prefer her pink redesign (which wasn't used in any comics, just the Archie Sonic encyclopedia or whatever it is) because it makes her look a lot different to her twin brother. I also usually draw her in my style, (the kneepads in the second drawing i plan to take out, she's still somewhat of a wip) and not like the Sonic style but I did blend the two, both my design into the Sonic style.
The severe design change in her outfit is actually because she goes from treasure hunter to crime boss in my story. (Her bio in that book i mention stated she has a hand in Mobius' criminal underworld, so why not have her run a part of it). And she has an eyepatch because she survived a shoot off with Fang.
Batman Returns Oswald and the Batman 2004 Oswald stay the exact same
but DCAU post Batman the Animated Series, I'm making changes to. I haven't gotten anything onto paper yet, Art Fight is taking up most of my drawing energy, but I can say what plans I have for ol Pengy in word form.
I like his posture and overall air from TNBA, but i plan to keep what made Oswald the Penguin in BTAS, the fingers most importantly. In my opinion, if he doesn't have his flippers, he needs bandages on his hands to mimic it (like in the Arkhamverse in Arkham City and onward)
I also plan to add a bit more color to his outfit as, yes, he is a very traditionally formal character, but he needs some blue or indigo to tie into his work as the owner of the Iceberg Lounge
Like this outfit from Birds of a Feather (i have talked my ass off over this episode omg) but obviously make it into a tuxedo. Or i might keep the long coat and make the indigo into a fur trim. Again, a wip

I'm blending what I like about both their NiGHTS into Dreams and NiGHTS Journey of Dreams deisgns because I love both of them to literal death
NJoD's horns but NiD's colors for the horns. The necklace, bandages, gloves, and collar from NJoD, but the vest, shoes, nails, and gauntlets from NiD.
Moreover, there will be a story reason why their bandages cover more of his body as, in the Batala story I'm slowly cooking up (still in brainstorming stage, got too many other projects currently), her bandages cover up the scars that are seen in NJoD (the weird bat-like details on their arms and legs) and act as compression tape as they hurt like fuck and since they're not in the Dream World no more, he doesn't have access to her usual resources.
The latter is the same reason why they don't have the feathers nor the mask that's usually adorning his face and shoulders. The mask, called a Persona, symbolizes loyalty to her master, Wizeman the Wicked, but he mask shattered when they crash landed in the Waking World, physically showing that he had been banished. And I always see feathers adorning characters who have money or authority and, since Reala lost her authority, their position as the General of Nightmares, he lost her feather decorations as well.
And the choice to turn the bandages on their body into something like a leotard is to make him look more like a jester. Since she doesn't wear pants (it's a running joke in the fandom that they hate pants), a leotard is the second best option. Also, it's just incredibly cunty
I love his proportions in BTAS. Howecer, I do knke the reason why it was changed in TNBA. In BTAS, the character designers were forced to make Penguin's design similar to how he looks in Batman Returns, being deformed instead of just fat, and that's not what the designers and writers wanted for him. (If you watched the movie and see how he is in BTAS, it's night and day. Returns Ozzy is gross in the best way possible imo, but that's not what BTAS Penguin is about)

I forgot to do this while LGBTQ+ pride month was still going on, but here are my LGBTQ+ headcanons for all of my f/os (as of now). I'll specify if something is canon, as well.
Empress, ace at least, aroace at most (still deciding). Creatures are not sexual creatures at all. And she is more focused on taking down its targets than anything else. And with her targets out of the way (James and Kate won and escaped but Empress somehow came back. She survived so much gunshot from two uzis and a few grenades to the eyes. I think she can handle getting knocked out by an oncoming train. Just unconcious for a long time.
Mukago, bisexual. I always loved the ships of her and the other lower moons, all of which are men.
N Gin (au not dependant) is a disaster bi. If you played any of the games, you know how smitten he is with Cortex despite all the man put him through. And he was still smitten when he saw a woman... who was actually Cortex in disguise. The dude's a walking disaster through and through as well.
Nic is a lesbian. The only ship I've seen her that's legal is with Fiona the Fox. Plus she never gave me the vibe that she was into men.
Oswald, it depends on the version of the character. DCAU gives me straight ally vibes but I also wouldn't put it past him if he actually was bi or anything more. Plus, I'm genderfluid so he's automatically queer. And I've seen so many headcanons of him being like a Stonewall-era or earlier gay man and I'm all for that take. Returns DEFINITELY BI OR PAN! Dude was so into women that I wouldn't be surprised if he was into some kind of man too. Bro has definitely smashed all of his gang members at least once. Also a walking disaster, just like N Gin. And 04 Ozzy is Bisexual and Polyamerous. With how he flirts with the Kabuki Twins and Catwoman, dude likes having multiple partners. Also I like seeing art of him and 04 Riddler and I like.
Peri and Gale (The Kabuki Twins), bi. They're with Penguin. They're with me. What more can I say?
Reala, canonically Agender. I also see them as asexual as, like Empress with Creatures, Nightmaren aren't sexual entities. I see them as wither aromantic or cupioromantic.
Zavok is definitely not straight, I'll give you that much. I've seen too much gay art and takes of him with Zazz or Vector. That man conquers both sides of the battlefield. However, he seems like the kind of person to be focused on a legacy to pass on, whether it be for potential heirs or students, doesn't matter to him.

Chicory/Battie's nickname for Mukago is "Muko." Muko calls them "ChiChi"
N Gin (Modern Timeline) just calls Bat-Terry Bats. N-Gin (Classic Timeline/Radical Era) calls Bat-Terry Terry, or my sweet. BlueGin is all for pet names. Bat-Terry, regardless, calls him Ginny
Nic calls Battie "darl," short for darling. (My Nic, like a lot of common headcanons for her brother, is whatever Mobian's equivalent for Australian is) And Battie calls her "mi amore," Italian for "my love"
DCAU Penguin has more pet names for Battie than the other versions. He calls her "turtle dove" or "my dove" or "dear." Battie just calls him "Ozzy."
Reala either calls Battie just "Bat" or "Luv" cuz British. But "baby" is not off the table. (Source, the comics). Battie calls them "Rae" or "Lala" to annoy them.
Zavok and Battie call each other "my queen" and "my king." Short for "Queen of the Night" and "King of Chaos"

Both Battie and Nic love to be in charge - Battie acknowledges Nic's placement in the Criminal Underworld and respects her as its ruler. But behind closed doors, if Nic isn't tuckered out, the two fight for control. It usually ends with Battie havijg Nic at their mercy--it turns them on.
Now, Nic has always been in charge throughout life; she was "the superior sibling," as she was stronger, smarter, and more likable than Nack, but that is only because she could mask the sheer insufferable asshole within her extremely well.
Battie, size-wise, is bigger than Nic, despite them being shorter than her. Nic also hates the cold (she's a jerboa, a desert animal) but insists she's not cold. Battie invests in hoodies and fashionable coats for Nic's sake. She doesn't want her favorite bloodbag to freeze up.
Now, both Battie and Nic love using pet names. Battie uses ones like: honey, darling, cara mia; meanwhile, Nic uses ones like: darl, doll, hun.
Despite liking being in control, Battie is an ambivert. Sometimes they like being outside and walking through Radical City at night. But there are days she just wants to be home and cuddle with her favorite bloodbag for the entire day. Nic, however, is an extrovert. She likes going to nightclubs and board meetings; seizing all attention during them is one of her favorite things to do.
As for their love language, Battie is all over the place. Underneath the cunty vampire and the organizer of controlled chaos, she's a child at heart and is a crow in a bat's body. She loves complimenting Nic and seeing her blush beneath a smug smirk when a particular compliment gets to the mastermind's head. They love giving gifts to her, even if it is just a rock that made them think of her. Although she tends to buy her nice ties and accessories, since clothing shopping is a nightmare for them both (Battie being short and busty while Nic having thunder thighs for days while being slim everywhere else). Gold is Nic's favorite. Battie loves quality time with Nic, but that is more Nic's love language than Battie's. (I will get there in a minute.) Being the Queen of Central City's Criminal Underworld ain't easy for Nic, and Battie knows this, so they offer to care for her after a long and arduous day. But, out of all of the love languages, Battie's favorite is physical touch. She loves cuddling and kissing and holding hands and (most importantly) biting. They love closeness.
Nic is also all over the place, but is more controlled about it, to contrast with Battie's outward chaoticness outside closed doors in the relationship. Nic loves calling Battie cute names and reassuring that they're not a monster, even when their bloodlust makes them feel like they're not. Nic isn't as big on physical touch as Battie is, but she loves it when they rest their head on her thighs as she runs her fingers through their thick, dark brown hair. As for gifts, she, just like her partner, loves gifting them with accessories. Battie loves it when Nic comes home with a new funky claw clip or elegant Jet or Onyx rings. Nic is always open to help Battie when they need it, if it's with planning things, hiding dead bodies, or more domestic affairs like cooking or cleaning when their executive dysfunction gets bad. Among the five love languages, quality time is Nic's favorite is quality time. She loves that she can just come home after a long day and spend time with Battie.
