I know it’s complete coincidence, based on the timing of the chapters being posted, but having the chapter where Thornclaw is confirmed for deputy, and we get this lovely look into how he thinks of himself and what he thinks of being deputy, post publicly the same day the patrons see Thornclaw DIE SADLY is actually crazy. I can’t believe you’ve done this. I don’t think you did it on purpose but the timing is insane.

Sara, is it possible that the mews could have created a new pokemon species, and that is why you’ve never seen it before and are having trouble finding records? Do they still do that kind of thing? Is there a protocol for spreading the word about such an event? Seems like it could be a big deal.

“Occasionally, yeah, they still make new creations. Not as much as they used to but every good few years or so the guild has to send some teams out for surveying. Dad says there hasn’t been a survey needed since a good while before I was born. They weren’t even in the guild yet when that happened. Can’t remember the reason though.”

Silvan continued to keep their poised pose and wasn’t sure if they wanted to reveal too much of their journey, but they didn’t think much would change, nor could anyone really interrupt the trip. They did preen, however, at the remark about their fur. They were proud of their coat, even if at times it was annoying.

“I need to find the Elemental Gems,” they said simply, their tail swishing around to wrap around their feet. “I know there are many stories saying one is able to find these gems easily, all in the one location, but it’s not the case in this world.”

Silvan thought about it some more, and answered further;

“The Elemental Gems is what I need to evolve into my chosen evolution. These Gems are located across the world. To collect them all will be difficult, but I am determined.”

Oh boy oh boy!! As bitter sweet as it is to see Swifthawk’s story go on the shelf, the new story is about MY BOYS INGO AND EMMETT??? I’ve been following you since before Redtail’s story even started (I think? It was at least early in its run and I don’t know if I can actually check), and I’m delighted to see that even if you’ve mostly moved forward from warriors, you’re still making kickass comics with characters that deserve more time, consideration, and love than they got in canon. I hope you know your fans are just happy to see you creating what makes you happy, and that you don’t beat yourself up for putting down a story you needed time and space (hehe!) from.

I am so excited to share my headcanons about the literally best train men in existence. uwu I actually had the biggest crush on them like ten years ago when first playing Pokémon Black, but recently rediscovered them while playing Legends: Arceus and realized they fit perfectly into my dumb headcanons. >B) IT'S GONNA BE FUN.
