The individual listed as "Randy C." under his last name initial of "C", based on its final and official winners of the said promotional raffle.

It was designed by encouraging Filipino participants to double the investments by simply trade your crypto money assets as GCash, the Philippines' top fintech electronic wallet and mobile payment service owned by Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Incorporated or GFIi), a joint venture between Globe Telecom, Ayala Corporation and Ant Group. Mynt conducts its operations through its subsidiary 'G-Xchange Inc.' (GXi).

When you trade PHP3,000 (or about U$D54 bucks in the U.S.), you will expect to earn a raffle entry with a chance to win PHP3,000 worth of Bitcoin in prizes, every time you buy and sell. There are bi-weekly crypto trading periods starting October 1st, 2025 to November 30th, 2025 with 600 overall winners of that said prize, and it needs to reach & accumulate your trades. Winners will be publicly listed on most official social media platforms of GCash, and they will be credited directly to their local GCrypto wallet in the mobile app within 2 business weeks, following the end of that raffle promo.

Whereas the evidence indicates a fit in Trading Period #3, Disney XD News and OneNETnews contacted individuals close to Coronel and attested that he has never stated familiarity with, or interest in trading in cryptocurrency or financial technology before. This begs the question of whether this is the right "Randy C." or whether the radio personality quietly entered the realm of crypto. It is too early to project and formally congratulate Coronel unless one of the GCash representatives can confirm that the real last name of the winning first initial C., which is possibly in fact like Coronel.

BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- A heated, technical dispute has emerged between two radio personalities in the Negros Island Region (NIR), involving claims of poor management, workplace issues and alleged death threats in less reputable media networks for radio listeners, including a lone affiliate FM station.

'Randy Tambasacan Coronel', who is a station manager, radio commentator, and news anchor of 106.5mhz's K5 News FM: Bayawan under '5K Broadcasting Network Incorporated' (5KBNi) recently been accused of verbally confronting and acting aggressively toward another radio broadcaster, targeting claims about lacking of managerial skills to its former broadcasting home in 'Sagay City, Negros Occidental'.

In a captioned social media post last week on Friday (August 15th, 2025 -- Sagay local time), this almost in relation by flexing its credit cards from a national banking institution "Bank of the Philippine Islands" (BPI), days before the incentive tour to Singapore & Malaysia this week on Monday morning (August 18th).

'Troy Tisoy' (real name 'Norberto Lapoy Celestial Jr.'), a new radio disc jockey of DYKR-FM 96.7mhz's XFM: Bacolod and current station manager of DYRQ-FM 88.3mhz's Radyo Natin: Sagay. Both FM radio stations operate under 'Yes2Health Broadcasting Corporation' (Y2HBC) and MBC Media Group. Tisoy also hosts in solo-syndicated radio programme of 'Phonepal'.

Sources told exclusively to OneNETnews, most radio technicians have decided to cut ties with either 'XFM: Bacolod', 'Radyo Natin: Sagay' or both, allegedly due to concerns about gambling, corruption and technically poor management. Citing from a Hiligaynon-based social media group chat, which is obtained by OneNETnews in part: "Halos kami tanan nakit-an nas iyang batasan. Wala nas lugar kay dili nya pirmahan kung maay mong nag-leave [sang trabaho]". Tisoy stepped down in late-June 2025 from DYJU-FM 89.7mhz's K5 News FM: Sagay, later returning on free radio through 'Radyo Natin: Sagay' and 'XFM Bacolod' as the only solo host of the said radio programme.

But early this weekend, Y2HBC's chief executive officer (CEO) 'Dr. Remelito Ytang Uy', said the XFM Philippines incentive tour would proceed as planned. He denied commenting on allegations of fraud, irregularities or corruption in the radio industry.

Local reports also allege that Coronel recently made death threats toward Tisoy in its damage control. If proven, these could lead to charges such as hate speech, cyber libel and other offenses. As of now, police in 'Bayawan City, Negros Oriental' and 'Sagay City, Negros Occidental' have not issued an arrest warrant, nor have they pressed charges on him, and no court plea has been entered.

K5 News FM's CEO and president 'Dr. Ramel Ytang Uy' shockingly aware of the situation, and is expected to urgently suspend Coronel as early as next week. Y2HBC, 5KBNi and regional officials of Manila Broadcasting Company Media Group (MBCMG) have not yet addressed and issued public statements.

BALITANG SPORTS: Cebu dominates CVIRAA 2025, struggling Dumaguete and Bayawanons for a new low

BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- The 'Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association' (CVIRAA) 2025 ended with Cebu City re-establishing its supremacy in the region's major sports tournament. Cebu finished at the top position ranked at #1 after amassing a whopping 105 gold medals, 89 silvers and 73 bronzes, earning them the biggest title of the region's sports powerhouse.

Dumaguete City, which has been a strong contestant in the past years was able to manage 36 golds, 45 silvers & 40 bronzes, but that was only enough at rank #4. Province of Negros Oriental placed 8th with 27 golds, 36 silvers & 28 bronzes, while Bayawan City, the host event of this sports programme, had a tough year finishing 9th with 19 golds, 18 silvers & 26 bronzes.

The closing ceremonies at CVIRAA in Bayawan City were a grand finale of the athletic events in the region and the cooperation. The program was filled with fireworks, cultural presentations about the history of Central Visayas and performers extinguishing the CVIRAA flame. Regionalistic athletes, coaches and Bayawanon officials from every school division paid respect to the sportsmanship and brotherhood that the competition had shown throughout the weekend.

As the curtains fell on this year's games, the focus now shifts to the upcoming 'Palarong Pambansa', following after the Philippine national and local elections from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), where Cebu City and other top-performing divisions will represent Central Visayas on the national stage.

BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- The 'Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association' (CVIRAA) announced its annual sports meet in 'Bayawan City, Negros Oriental', situating out of northwest capital city of Dumaguete beginning next month from March 11th to 17th, 2025. The event gathers student-athletes from different provinces in the regions of Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor and Negros Oriental, including Dumaguete City to participate in various sports disciplines.

CVIRAA serves as a regional sports platform for young athletes to exhibit their skills and support camaraderie among the players. The event has a diverse offering of sports, including athletics, basketball, volleyball, swimming and others. Apart from this annual sports competition event, it places much emphasis on sportsmanship, discipline and personal growth among student-athletes.

CVIRAA has its roots from the creation of regional athletic associations in the Philippines to promote sports at the grassroots level. Over the years it has become an annual event for schools and communities in Central Visayas. Every year, a different municipality or city hosts the meet and adds its own flavor to the games.

CVIRAA is a great privilege, doing as considered a huge task of challenges. This entails elaborate preparations for everyone's concerned, a re-orientation of teachers, continuous upgrading of athletic facilities, housing of the visiting delegations, as well as providing for the safety and welfare of the participants.

This was no longer confined to technical or athletic prowess, but already a showcase of the place with its own culture, hospitality and receptiveness, where the date of the hosting has to be finalized before the Summer season comes at the end of school year.

Last year in May 2024, it was declared that Bayawan City would host the 2025 CVIRAA Meet. Dr. Adolf Aguilar, who is an assistant superintendent of the Department of Education (DepEd) in Cebu, announced the city's hosting, citing the support of the Regional Development Council and a formal letter of intent from Bayawan Mayor 'John Teves Raymond Jr.'. As Bayawanons gears up for the event, stakeholders have been called upon to ready their facilities and commit resources.

Enthusiasts both from neighboring towns and tourists are set to converge in Bayawan City to witness a wide array of week-long events that range from low-skilled routines to highly-competitive sports activities.

Coronel's AM radio broadcasting career began in DYKB-AM 1404kHz's RPN Radyo Ronda and DYKS-FM 91.9 Love Radio: Bacolod, where he spoke for the first time in Hiligaynon after Cebuano dialect from Mindanao. Despite facing setbacks, including stepping down twice from his roles, he continued and served for him his career as part of the radio broadcasting world, before and during pandemic days of Coronavirus Disease-19 (CoViD-19) in the early-2020s.

Started in August 10th, 2024 on Monday afternoon (Bayawan local time)… It is designed to support various causes and provide assistance for the Filipinos. The show features a raffle draw where participants in Negros Oriental and around the Philippines can win prizes, and the proceeds from the raffle are used to fund community projects and aid programs.

It was streamed LIVE nationwide on Facebook (owned by Meta Platforms Inc. [MPi]), allowing a wide audience to participate and contribute to the cause. While in mid-December 2022, as due to insisted public demand, DZRH-AM 666khz in Metro Manila (under MBC Media Group, formerly Manila Broadcasting Company) inks the deal to launch new radio and televised programme under the same name.

Things have changed in a sinister side. Almost 9 hours after last year's Pamplona massacre in a first weekend of March 2023, who completely assasinating the late-Negros Oriental governor 'Roel Ragay Degamo' and among others… The pre-recorded telecast of 'Teves Cares: Aksyon, Tulong, Solusyon' at 6pm, aired each week on Saturday nights on 'DZRH Television' and DZRH-AM 666khz will be its final new episode on TV and radio nationwide when the horrific event took place-its natural ending, when the exposés on Teves' alleged criminal activities began to explode like a bombshell in Negros Oriental, and the whole world is at large.

The downfall of Mr. Teves was swift and decisive. The Teves Cares Foundation (TCF), a local non-profit organization in Dumaguete City, formerly a beacon of hope to many are forced to cease its operations after the murderous mastermind scandal. The radio broadcast contract for the program with DZRH-AM in Manila reportedly banned & terminated (following after the pre-recorded last new episode), and the 'Teves Cares' website closes down forever that uses for registering raffle codes for new and returning players online..

The House of Representatives expelled for public absence and attempts to evade justice by seeking asylum in various countries, ultimately led him to Timor-Leste, where he was apprehended while playing golf. He did enjoy brief release for over 30 minutes, but was rearrested in no time. The drama shows this man's time in court is far from over. Court hearings of Timor-Leste will now decide on the fortunes of Mr. Teves, and whether he would be deported back to the Philippines to face crimes against him and putting into its maximium security jail.

For many, the precipitous fall of 'Arnulfo Alipit "Arnie" Teves' is a lesson worth learning about how power could suddenly come unglued in the face of developing scandals and criminal accusations. From charismatic personality in the online game show host, to a fugitive on the run, Mr. Teves' story of exposition but no less ill-fated than the thin line separating fame and infamy in the political cosmos of criminal raffle game show of entertainment.
