#tbt Early days of@shiekh shoes Late 90s #AlBundy selling shoes 25/8 six days a week 12 hours a day 60+ hours a week at every mall in #BayArea guessing this #BayFair maybe #Hilltop or #NewPark who knows I was go to guy.We had it popping more than Al B4 #Shiekhshoes it was @footaction We was poor so I started wking jobs Jr high,soon as i was legal working age landed stockboy job #Footaction worked my way to sales.By 11th grade was barely goin 2 school. I was best salesman so when I didn't graduate &had a son on way. I went fulltime.Soon after I was youngest manager in whole Northern California I could write a whole book or movie just about these years.STRUGGLE WAS REAL. Long Before I started @rdv_promo Even then i wasn't just a worker but a young boss. This time of year #HolidaySeason you'd never see me if u wasn't at mall. Shoe trap was real. We did it all at the mall. Made a lot of $$. Saved the hood alot of $$ Gave alot of jobs to friends,fam &strangers.Learned alot of about retail,business world,budgets, managing people,meetings, dealt w/ race-izm, these things didn't come natural to me.I used skills & intelligence to figure out corporate world I was rapping before shoe jobs (Anyone remember my rap name back then DM me and get free merch) but my son mom told me I should focus on buying a 🏠 & providing,but 🎤🎙🎶my passion I wasnt tryna hear that. I quit for a second or at least I told her that but I knew I was gonna make it in #HipHop #LinkinBio DONT STOP Already Knew alot of famous people but i met way more working at these malls. I remember days when #2pac #Kobe even young #LilWayne slidin thru my job to name a few. I would bring demos to work,be freestylin for customers,battling coworkers, girls crowding around. Good times but also we worked dangerous malls. It wasn't a game,but this kept me out the streets & worse trouble + it prepared me for being #MrNETW3RK in my rap career& I taught me about running a business. I probably worked more jobs before 25 then most work they whole life.
