request: can you do a Rue x reader where she meets Rue after Rue crashes into her backyard during police chase and the reader lets her stay and cleans her up. the next day she drives Rue home, but she disappears after so Rue thinks she won’t ever see her again until she transfers to East Highland High School?

my girl just walked into the building, hi babe. percs give me a feeling, i feel it.

the night sky was beautiful. the stars were blinding and almost made you go cross eyed before you heard a thud and a long groan right after. snapping your head to the left you saw a girl laying in your backyard clutching her stomach and breathing heavily.

you stood up and cautiously came over to her.

“are…are you okay?” you asked her as you slowly approached.

she groaned and turned over to face you. “no.”

you looked at her sickly grimace and her sweating body before hauling her up and rushing her into your house.

your first month back in East Highland was not supposed to be this eventful.

“oh my god.” she said stumbling to your trash can and dry heaving. you groaned before averting your eyes away from the scene.

“not on my floor! please not on my floor.” you said turning your head away as her body convulsed. you just cleaned the entire house this morning.

when nothing came up she took a deep breath and blinked rapidly to clear her head.

“i-i’m Rue.” the girl said now standing up to full height and sitting at your dining room table.

you turned your head back towards her and walked over to your fridge.

“hi Rue.” you said grabbing a water for her. “i’m y/n.” now moving the water to her shaking hand.

she gulped the water down as her eyes flashed across your cabinets. frantically searching for something.

once you were able to catch her wandering eyes you started your questioning.

“so what the fuck happened to you?“ you asked in a teasing voice. “you look like you got ran over.”

she laughed and for the first time since you saw her, she seemed out of discomfort.

“i ran away.” her giggles started to quiet down. you looked over from where you stood looking for a first aid kit and rose a brow at her.

“from what?” you said finally grasping at the bag and coming over to her.

“going to rehab…i kinda fucked up.” she sighed. you saw her eyeing your bag as you took out some alcohol wipes.

“there’s no pills in this house Rue. i’ve barely settled in.” you announced before wiping at the cuts in her knees.

“FUCK.” she hollered out at the stinging pain.

“h-how’d you know?” she breathed out.

“my mom.” you simply said before throwing the bloodied wipes away.

“you stink. go shower. i have some clothes I’ll give you and after breakfast tomorrow I’m taking you home.” you pointed her in the direction of the bathroom before finding some type of food to put in the oven and finding her something to sleep in.

you heard the shower start as you finished picking her outfit and made your way to the door.

“can i grab your clothes really quick to wash them?” you yelled in.

“yeah!” she responded before you heard something fall.

you came in and eyed the showers curtain as the girl cursed.

“just uh…” you trailed off as she continued to drop things behind the curtain. “just call me if you need help.” you laughed before focusing on the clothes.

she left her clothes on the sink. you replaced those clothes with the ones you had for her and started a load.

by the time she was out, you had cut the pizza and the clothes were on their second spin.

“you look way better.” you acknowledged handing her a plate in the process.

“thanks.” she mumbled plopping down beside you.

to Rue you were kind of odd. you clothed her, fed her, allowed her to bathe and you didn’t yell at her. an angel to her, but if she was in your shoes she would’ve been terrified of a stranger.

it was nice being with you in comparison to what all went down that day.

but tomorrow would come, this night would just be a memory, and she would be forced to succumb to her reality in a few hours.

“tell me about you. you heard about me.” she told you picking at the crust.

“um…” you said before swallowing. you hated these questions. you either were always too vague or too deep when answering.

“i moved in like a month ago…last time I was here i was 9.” you mumbled to the girl. you two discussed your living situation before Rue yawned and you decided that was a signal for bed.

“hey Rue?” you called to the almost asleep girl. she hummed in response.

“are you the one who was jumping all those yards? i heard about it on the scanner while you were washing up.”

silence was your answer before she nodded beside you. you hummed before closing your eyes and going to bed.

the next morning all you heard was a woman screaming “WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN RUE?!” before driving off.

you did not want to stay to see that.

Rue sighed as she walked to lunch with Maddy. it had been roughly two weeks since she last saw you.

she almost went to your house, but Ali had told her that was weirdo behavior. to wait things out.

so she waited.

and waited.

you weren’t at the park, the grocery restore, the mall, or anywhere.

Rue was defeated until you showed up in the cafeteria.

“Rue?” a voice she knew too well called from behind her.

she turned and stood up. there you stood with a black dress and fishnets on your arms beaming at her.

“you look better.” you giggled at her stunned reaction.

“i’ve missed you.” she said embracing you. you laughed into her shoulder as you hugged her back. from what you could see, a blonde a few tables over was sending daggers right at you two.

“so is this the girl?“ BB asked from around her vape she had stuffed in her arm sleeve.

“the angel?” Kat added as you two pulled apart.

“this is her.”

Life was hard for Elliot, Jules and Rue, but not in the way you think. Yes they had their problems, but that was like far down their list if problems right now. They all had the same problem, and not just any problem, no, her name was y/n l/n. She was their friend, or, she was many people's friend in school but theirs especially.

Now what was this problem they had? Well, all three of them had miraculously fell for the girl. All of them finding something in her that made them drawn to her and to like her so much. This however caused all of them to compete for her undeniable attention, but she was a pro at somehow equally give them the same amount of attention.

They would all count how many times they got to hold her hand, hug her, and even who she seemd to be leaning more towards everyday. It differed everyday, one day it would be Elliot who had the most, one it was Jules and the other it was Rue. But they all found that their friendship wasn't damaged by this, the three was okey with if y/n were to choose any of them and not tye other two. It was an agreement that held their friendship together. But what did they all like with her?

Jules loved y/n for her openness, she was open to try anything and always held a open mind to things. Jules loved to style the girl, she would always just give a happy smile and shrug whenever Jules put out an outfit. Then follwing by doing her makeup, taking extra time to make sure y/n looked amazing, not that it was needed. She loved to ride her bike around with y/n, racing and laughing loudly. Jules loved her hugs and sweet smile, it always brought light to the day.

Rue loved how caring y/n were, she would voice her concerns and always make sure any of her friends were all right. y/n would often check in on Rue and make sure the girl were home safe, also calling in FaceTime to keep the brunette from her own mind. Rue loved the times when y/n had helped her home from a party or when she'd been doing drug, y/n were always able to get Rue's mom of her back. How y/n would stay over and some nights Rue would wrap her arms around y/n and fall asleep herself.

Elliot couldn't pinpoint what he exactly liked about y/n, but he knew she drew him in and made him wanna be better. He loved whenever the two of them would dance around lazily in his room, laughter along with music filling the room. He loved to have his arm draped over her shoulders. His favorite always being when they hung out and just talked, talking for hours with occasional eye contact, making his heart jump.

All three of them never got more irritated one hot more attention. It was always fun as they would tell what they did with y/n, and fun example of this was when Elliot had been able to place a kiss on y/n forehead and he told Rue and Jules. Their reaction being: "Oh fuck, bet she was all cute and shit." Rue commented. "Man, I wanted to do that before any of you," Jules sighed.

As the day had started, the three friends, as usual, stood by one's locker and were chatting about. Rue had said something sarcastic that made Jules roll her eyes and shake her head. Elliot looking around after the third girl.

"Have you guys seen y/n?" Elliot then asked, causing the two girls to look around.

"No, haven't heard from her since yesterday and that's weird 'cause she always messages me in the morning," Jules told, also looking around slightly.

"Yeah, well, she was a little off yesterday," Rue shrugged, the other two snapping their heads towards her.

"The fuck do you mean by 'off'?" Elliot furrowed his brows as he looked at the tall brunette.

"She just seemed more quiet when she and I hung out yesterday, you know, short answers and shit," Rue explained.

"But why-" Jules cut herself off short as y/n walked past towards her next class, Lexi was at her side with a arm on her lower back as y/n held a gloomy face. It was weird for y/n to not, at least, say hi to the three when she got to school.

"Did you see that?" Rue held a perplexed face as she pointed towards Lexi and y/n who were just entering math.

"She ignored us," Jules breathed.

None of them were actually gonna go on math, they had planned to ditch and then come back to hang with y/n, but oh no, they were not going to just leave her ignoring them. So all of them were quick to take out their book and follow into the classroom.

Luckily, both seats on either side of her were empty and so was the one behind her. y/n sat behind Lexi who had a empty seat in front of her. Rue and Jules quickly sat on either side of y/n, Elliot behind her, but she didn't even bat an eyelash at them, mindlessly twirling the pen in her hand.

"y/n!" Rue leaned over and poked her arm, only getting a side glance from the h/c girl.

"Hey y/n," Jules said in a soft tone at her other side and y/n simply did the same to her as for Rue, a side glance. Lexi then turned in her seat as she heard the brunette and blond try and talk to y/n, squinting at them.

"What are you two doing?" Lexi questioned Rue and Jules as Elliot sunk into his seat behind y/n.

"We just wanted to talk to y/n," Rue said.

"Well, she doesn't look like she wants to talk now dose she?" Lexi said in a almost hash tone as she noticed knew what was up and knew y/n wasn't in the mood to talking and just wanted to be left for herself. Rue and Jules held up their hands in surrender and fell back into their seats. Elliot who sat behind and watched it all go down simply leaned forward in his chair and over the desk.

"y/n/n? Can you just talk to us?" Elliot waited for a reaction and looked towards Rue and Jules but they both shook their head as to show she wasn't reacting.

They all tried multiple times, making y/n wanna crawl into herself and dissappear. Her shoulders tense the whole time as class waited for the teacher to arrive. But it wasn't until the teacher actually got inside and was about to start class that y/n reacted.

Rue had once more called her name, this time softer than she'd ever done and it made y/n shoot out of her seat, standing up and taling her books with her. Moving to sit in front of Lexi who simply scowled at the three. All of them staring dumbfounded looks, so during the whole lesson they turned towards messages, making y/n turn on airplane mode on her phone.

And so it went like that the whole day, Elliot, Rue and Jules trying to get y/n to talk to them. During classes, Elliot and Rue going to more classes than they ever done under one day, they would all three just look at her.

During lunch, y/n sat with Lexi, Cassie, BB, Maddy and Kat. The girls respected y/n not wanting to talk and they just simply encouraged her to eat, all while Elliot, Jules and Rue was watching from their own table. Trying to come up with an idea for her to talk, and they did.

As the last lesson of the day rolled around, none of the three took their things, instead they all waited. The school corridor slowly started to have less and less people in it, y/n was calm and took her time getting out her things.

"Okey," Rue came running back, panting slightly. "The girls bathroom is clear, I checked all stalls and made sure ewe can lock the doors into it."

"Isn't she gonna hate us after this, I man she clearly wanna be alone," Jules told with a unsure tone.

"No, it's better if we get to know cause this was all out of nowhere," Elliot told.

All three of them shared a look before they walked up towards y/n, her head still turned towards the locker. When they reached her, y/n noticed at the footsteps coming closer and she turned, eyes falling on the three she wanted to avoid today.

"y/n we have to talk,"

"No we don't Elly," y/n slammed close her locker, causing Jules to jump slightly, trying to walk past Rue and Elliot. But Rue simply grabbed her arm and started to walk towards the girls bathroom.

"Let me go Rue!" y/n sharply told her as Elliot and Jules followed.

"We just wanna know y/n," Rue simply said as they closed in on the bathroom. Elliot and Jules shared a unsure look.

Once inside, Rue blocked off the door inside and locked it, making sure no one could get in from the outside, leaving them with the whole bathroom empty as Jules checked all the stalls once more.

y/n leaned against the counter with all sinks, the bathroom smelled a bit of smoke, probably someone who had been there smoking or vaping erlier. It was nothing new. Her eyes on all the three in front of her that were covering the door.

"Can't you just tell us what's going on?" Jules asked, brows raised in a questioning manner.

"I don't wanna talk about it," y/n grumbled, her usually happy tone thrown out the window.

"That much I understood," Rue mumbled to herself as Elliot just rolled his eyes.

"We know, but isn't it easier to just tell us what's going on instead of ignoring us all day?" Elliot walked forward slightly and held her eye before they flickered to Jules and Rue.

y/n knew that talking about it didn't make her cry or anything, she was far past that stage of it, but it always made her feel down to talk about it. She took a deep breath in though her nose and out her mouth.

"You really wanna know?" All three nodded and y/n nodded too. "Okey then. Three years ago today my friend died, it was suicide. I was the last one to talk to her, she called me saying all if these thing like 'I love you' and 'you're always gonna be my best friend.'."

Elliot and Rue just stood not knowing what to do, Jules stared at y/n for a second before she quickly walked up towards the girl and wrapped her up in a hug. Holding her tightly.

"I'm sorry," Jules whispered but y/n shook her head against Jules shoulder.

"It's fine," Pulling away, Jules put her hands at the sides of y/n's face and smoked sadly.

"Look we're sorry for being annoying all day, if we knew we wouldn't," Elliot said with a apologetic look, y/n quickly giving him a hug too.

"I'm sorry too," Rue told as she fiddled with her fingers like she always did when she was nervous.

y/n turned her head in the hug with Elliot and relaxed one of her hands to pull Rue into the hug too. Ut startled her but she hugged back and soon Jules too joined in. The group hug was nice, really nice.

For three people especially.
