Headcanon:

After Bobblehead Bob recovered from his injuries (see Hoxton Breakout trailer to see him doing fine), He accidentally stumbled the safehouse gates and as soon as Aldstone opens it, he exclaims "Oh! Looks like we found a new bartender for master jimmy"

And ever since then, he started working permanently, not only because he really needed money but a way to further repay Dallas to change his way of life :,)
