William is very organized and like the old man he is he enjoys tidying things up. Spends a lot of time making sure all his clothes are properly folded and the dishes are always clean (he cleans the sink after, too). You'll rarely find anything out of place.

He has a tiny bit of toxic masculinity in him by which I mean he has a hard time showing some emotions, specially sadness. He feels bad for crying, like subcounsciouly he souldn't be allowed to do that. He's working on it.

Myx on the other hand is a mess. Doesn't know how to iron his clothes or cook to save his life. His place is a dumpster and he knows it.

At least he's very open with his emotions. No hidding anything if this guy. If he's happy, he'll smile, if he's sad, he'll cry. In his opnion, hidding how you truly feel is a waste of time and does more damage than anything good.

Won't really help you overcome it or anything, he's kind of clueless as to how, so he just settles for watching cute/funny cat videos with you while cuddling on the couch.

He's considerate enough to not bitch about the fact that you both can't adopt a cat together (he thinks that's like the peak of commitment), even though he really wanted to.

Well, okay, maybe he'll bitch about it a little bit.

Garret

Has a difficult time understanding why (but then again, that's nothing new when it comes to him).

He loves all animals, and I mean all of them. Even if you said that you didn't like rats or spiders or something he would still have the same reaction even if they're widely hated.

Not the best at animal body language, by which I mean he's horrible at it, so I don't recommend asking him to help you with it.

The chances of him trying to make you get close and pet a cat that is clearly really fucking pissed and will very probably attack you are high enough to be a little worried about it. He will see them hissing and foaming at the mouth and still be like "haha they're so cute :D anyway go ahead babe dw about it"

He means well but maybe you should ask someone else for help, just a heads up.

William

The one you should be going for if you want help.

Completely understanding of how you feel. He's a vet, he's probably used to people having any sort of relationships with animals, even if it's phobias or just a mild fear.

Unlike Garret, he's good at exposure therapy. He'd only bring you near cats that he knows are relaxed and laid-back and make sure neither you or the animal feel threatened. Might even make you feel secure enough to pet one after a while.

Brings you with him to work more often. He already enjoys having you around the clinic, and it makes you be safely around cats more frequently.

Should be getting rid of your fear in no time. Bless this man
