Can we all take a moment to thank that there are gay characters in books. And I dont mean fanfiction. I mean hard back books. Also thank you David Llewellyn fo Writing the book 'Torchwood. Trace Memory', there is a mention of beaing in a gay bar in 1967 and implied gay smut and kissing. And this book was realised in 2008 by BBC Books. I'm just so fucking happy right know.

Exciting news - the brand new tie-in novels for Class, the Dr Who spin-off series due to air this October, have been announced by BBC Books! Taking place in the world created by Patrick Ness, the stories were penned by A.K.Benedict, Guy Adams and James Goss.

Speaking to The Bookseller, Senior Editorial Director Albert DePetrillo remarked, “Class is a hugely exciting new brand for the BBC list, and we’re delighted to be working with Patrick and the production team at BBC Wales on these official tie-ins.” The books are set to be published on the 27th October.
