Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, finely chopped. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped. 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped. 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 egg. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce, tomato slices, and mayonnaise for garnish.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, sundried tomatoes, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, red onion, garlic, and egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates. Grill the chicken burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char on the outside. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill until they are slightly browned. Once the burgers are cooked, assemble your burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a chicken patty, a slice of tomato, and a dollop of mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Sundried Tomato Chicken Burgers!
