I feel if one were to smooch a Yautja upon the mandibles, they wouldn't know what kissing is and would interpret it as a poor attempt at a threat display? Not in a way that they'd get defensive, more like "awww look at you, so scary, good job!" To them, it would be like when a kitten fluffs up and hisses, trying to look intimidating, but it's just cute.

i do love the idea of a yautja just being very confused w a human partner's romantic advances, because thats not a huge part of their culture. so yeah, no kissing usually so when you peck your lips all across their face, i can see your yautja mate being like ???? ok??? (and you try and say its an important, special kind of display of affection, and they'd hit you back with 'i saw you do the exact same thing to your little pet rat (you have a dog) so clearly its not that special but ok-"

i feel like stu would be a nightmare to go on a bouldering date with. i just know he'd break rules on purpose. he'd actively want and try to get someone hurt. you ARE getting kicked out. this is why billy does not go to the gym with stu no matter how badly stu begs.
