Its patio season! The sun is shining but the temperature isn’t too warm yet. A great moment to get some fresh beer release from @temporalbeer The Liminal Space is a blend of Munichwine aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon and Brazilian amburana barrels. It came from Brazil, coopered by @dornashavana and it’s the only one of its kind in Canada. In Brazil, we usually use this kind of barrel for cachaça but I have to say using this barrel for beer is even more interesting. The other beer is the Vanilla Gesha Horizon, an unblended Imperial Stout aged in an Austin Nichol's 12yr barrel. Conditioned on Mexican vanilla beans and Mexican Gesha coffee beans from @prototypecoffee.ca Both beers are part of Temporal Void Series, an exploration of the extremely strong end of barrel-aged beers. [PT-BR] algumas cervejas em boa companhia na colorida e psicodélica Electric Bicycle.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Peguei um flight com a Fractals Saison I, Tezcatzontecatl's Choice Mexican IPA, Nice Hat Amber Ale e Black Lotus Dark Lager, que foram servidas nessa ordem. E foi exatamente nessa ordem da primeira para a última, que eu fui gostando mais das cervejas: comecei pela Saison com alto drinkability, depois pela IPA refrescante, passando pela Amber Ale com sabores de malte caramelo e mel e finalizei com a melhor do flight: a Dark Lager com um toque torrado.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ O clima psicodélico está desde a colorida arte da fachada até o interior do tap room. E a trilha sonora foi um ponto positivo.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [EN] about some beers in good company at the colorful and psychedelic @electricbicyclebrewing.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I sampled a flight with Fractals Saison I, Tezcatzontecatl's Choice Mexican IPA, Nice Hat Amber Ale, and Black Lotus Dark Lager. I started with the high drinkability Saison, then drank the refreshing IPA, after got the Amber Ale with caramel malt and honey flavors and ended well with the Dark Lager with a roasted touch.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The psychedelic atmosphere is in the colorful painting outside the building and also inside the tap room. [PT-BR] todo o destaque para essa maravilhosa fresh hop da Fuggles & Wardock. Feita com lúpulos Comet e Cashmere, a Chrono Fresh Hop IPA é um belo exemplo de como usar o lúpulo fresco, ela é super aromática, tem cheiro de lupulina recém exposta e tem aquele gostinho de coisa verde. Com certeza, uma das melhores cervejas, se não a melhor, que tomei desse estilo. Gostei tanto que repeti (para quem não me conhece, eu não costumo tomar a mesma cerveja quando visito uma cervejaria pela primeira vez).  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A outra cerveja que provei e também aprovei foi a Rei Boysenberry Sour, uma Wheat Sour com boysenberries frescas, essa frutinha é proveniente do cruzamento de blackberry e framboesa e o sabor é bem a mistura dessas duas.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A cervejaria fica em Richmond, uma cidade vizinha de Vancouver, pedalamos cerca de 25km para chegar lá e foi um passeio maravilhoso em um dia ensolarado de outono. Obrigada por mais essa dica Milena e Thiago e pela companhia também, claro.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [EN] all the highlight for this wonderful fresh hop from @fuggleswarlock. Made with Cometa and Cashmere hops, a Chrono Fresh Hop IPA is a beautiful example of how to use fresh hops, it is super aromatic, smells like freshly exposed lupulin and has “green” flavor profile. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, beers I've had from this style. [PT-BR] saímos sem rumo e o sopro do querubim nos levou à Four Winds, em Delta.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Normalmente, eu escolho uma Pale Ale e Felipe, uma Pilsner. Dessa vez não foi diferente. A American Pale Ale é deliciosamente equilibrada nos lúpulos, refrescante e com final limpo. Já a Hüftgold tem aromas florais e de pão, que se repetem no sabor.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No cardápio, há tacos e alguns tapas, que variam. Escolhi o Street Style Grilled Corn, um milho grelhado com maionese, queijo cojita, epazote e chilli. Quis testar duas cervejas para harmonizar: a Nectarous, uma Dry-Hopped Sour maravilhosa, que preencheu a boca e limpou o palato; e a Saison, que, apesar da picância, também harmonizou.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Para completar o flight, provei ainda a Opulence, uma Farmhouse Ald com uvas Pinot Noir e Brettanomyces e acidez marcante e a Oat Porter que, só de sentir o aroma de cacau e café já fiquei feliz, mas fiquei ainda mais feliz, quando lembrei que tinha um alfajor para harmonizar.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [EN] we left without any destination and the cherub's breath took us to Four Winds in Delta.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Normally, I choose a Pale Ale and Felipe a Pilsner to start. This time it was no different. American Pale Ale is deliciously balanced in hops, refreshing and with a clean finish. Hüftgold has floral and bread aromas and flavors.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are tacos and some tapas on the menu. I ate Street Style Grilled Corn, a grilled corn with mayonnaise, cojita cheese, epazote and chilli. I tested two beers for pairing with the corn: Nectarous, a wonderful Dry-Hopped Sour, which fullfilled my mouth with tartness and tropical flavors and cleaned my palate. Also the Saison, which was a good pairing with spicy notes.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To complete the flight, I had Opulence, a Farmhouse Ale with Pinot Noir grapes and Brettanomyces and remarkable acidity. [PT-BR] se você gosta de cerveja Sour, a Streetcar é o seu lugar, cinco das oito cervejas no tap eram Sours. O dia estava quente e matamos nossa sede com a Cucumber Lemon Sour e a Pimento's Strawberry Kiwi Sour.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Depois, com a cabeça mais fresca e relaxados, pedimos um flight com Mexican Salted Lime Lager, Chamomile Sour, Red IPA e Barrel Aged Brett Saison. Como era o último barril da Saison e só conseguimos tomar um golinho, podemos pedir outra cerveja e fomos de Bluberry Vanilla Smothie Sour.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Acertamos na primeira escolha para os copos grandes, apesar de que a Red IPA estava muito bem feita também.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Para chegar ao tap room com luzinhas amarelas aconchegantes é preciso descer uma escada estreita, que parece de porão e passar pela pequenina sala de brassagem.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [EN] if you like Sour beer, Sreet Car is your place, five of the eight beers on tap were Sours. The day was hot and we quenched our thirst with Pepino Lemon Sour and Pimento's Strawberry Kiwi Sour. [PT-BR] assim como começou, o dia também terminou com vista, mas agora acompanhado de cerveja. Foi o melhor jeito de relaxar as pernas depois de pedalar, fazer trilha e nadar no mar.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Chegamos na Tapworks Brewing quando o céu rosa e azul contrastava com o verde das montanhas e para completar tinha o azul prateado da água.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Para acompanhar esse entardecer colorido, escolhemos a Backwoods, uma Hazy Pale Ale e a Crispy Buoy, uma Craft Lager, ganhadora da medalha de ouro no Canadian Brewing Awards em 2020. Assim como o clima, as duas cervejas estavam bem frescas e deliciosas.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A cervejaria possui três bons ambientes para qualquer estação: um salão fechado, um pátio e o terraço, que é onde nós ficamos.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [EN] and the day ended with a beer with a view. It was the best way to relax my legs after cycling, hiking and swimming in the sea. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We arrived at @tapworksbrewing when the pink and blue sky contrasted with the green of the mountains and the frosting on the cake was a silvery blue water.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To take with this colorful evening, we chose Backwoods, a Hazy Pale Ale and Crispy Buoy, a Craft Lager, gold medal winner at the 2020 Canadian Brewing Awards.
