If you ever feel discouraged because it seems like nothing is going your way, just remember: Brandon Davidson had to quit hockey because his parents couldn’t afford the fees. He wasn’t drafted into the WHL and made the Regina Pats as a walk-on. He was barely drafted into the NHL, then was diagnosed with testicular cancer. After beating that, he fought his way through the minors and into the NHL. At every level, he’s impressed coaches with his hard work and determination.
