Some non crackship silliness: Bdubs sleeping the moment the sun touches the horizon means that half the server is phantom bait. Since he's one of whatever the alive counterparts to phantoms are called, those players also smell tasty to him. Naturally, certain Hermits tease his (other) partners, and also him, with many many innuendoes about this.

Even Scar and Cub, who as Vex also get those player-eating innuendoes used to tease their partners.

Doc also gets the additional teasing of having taken a resource pack to make him perceive phantom screeching as Bdubs telling him to sleep.

Sometimes that screeching is, it turns out, not phantoms. Sometimes it's Bdubs, who could smell Doc through the many layers of earth because when was the last time he slept.

The punishment for this horrible insult of mistaking Bdubs for a common phantom is a good night's sleep with him. Coincidentally, what he was coming to get Doc for anyway! Funny how those things work out.

I’m stuck at work until 11pm being bored so I’ve smuggled in my laptop to write fan fiction. Living my best life here. Also going to drop little things into your inbox. Like Doc may hate cats, but he does make cat activation noises if awoken from sleep. Just pet his hair to wake him up and the big scary cyborg creeper just ‘mmrrrrp?’s

Also want to write more stimming Bdubs but feel like I’ve used all my ideas in one fic. I just can’t get happy flappy boy out of my head. Just little snapshot moments that can’t be a whole fic like him trying to be a stealthy sewer cat but there is so much stimming when he’s stealing something it’s really not subtle. Or needing pressure and unable to use words for a moment and pretty much climbing into Beef’s lap when he’s mid conversation for help. Beef is fully aware and happy to squish and hold without even breaking his conversation at all.

Clothes swap between Doc and Bdubs. Bdubs in a way too huge labcoat trying to look intimidating, and failing because dude put a shirt on under that. (For some reason I think he’d have a little bit of pudge under that sweater.) and Doc squeezed into a too small sweater and finding the bandana annoying as hell and keep falling in his eyes when he’s working. I’m on a Bdubs/Doc high right now and writing them in the experiment fic I have planned.

Doc as a cat is too precious. Imagine him doing the bread kneading thing cats do or even purring when he’s happy. I’d sell my soul for putting Doc actually

Also picture Keralis seeing Bdubs because he’s stimming while trying to steal but he pretends he didn’t because he knows if Bdubs is stimming he’s happy and Keralis doesn’t want to ruin Bdubs’ fun. And that Beef one is everything. He does seem like he gives great hugs.

The height difference between Doc at 6’5 and Bdubs at 5’8 is incredible. I can picture Bdubs just being engulfed in the huge lab coat and Doc wants to make fun of him but he looks so cute he can’t

And the nHO are the only ones allowed to fuck with Bdubs. Anyone else can catch some hands

I remember a theory that Creepers were plant based and since spring is here, have some Doc and Bdubs

Spring tended to be a very busy time. Between building, shop maintenance, server maintenance and winter coats being shed, it's a suprise the place still looks clean!

Doc and Bdubs had different problems when it came to spring: instead of shedding anything, the two of them get littered with blooming springflowers and buds in turn of the warmer days, which attracts bees. And building with bees buzzing and lightly bumping around and into you can get very annoying.

Worse is that you can't do anything about it! Void forbid you accidentally hit a bee for whatever reason - they only pay with blood

The two of them share a mutual agreement and understanding for their mild distaste for spring.

The flowers are pretty, at least. Bdubs quite likes the thought that he himself is a canvas! All the different colours creating a painting across him.

It would be a wonderful thing. If not for the bees.

Doc is about two more buzzes away from cursing it all and spraying himself with pesticide. He never does. But the urge is always there.

They'd get together and grumble more often, but unfortunately that results in. Double the bees. So they stick to leaning on each other at night and light-heartedly cursing nature.

Doc has definitely dabbled in magic before. He’s not every good at it since he’s not really born with any but he tries! He is learning under Joe’s guidance. Bdubs is very good at magic, faery magic specially (not to be confused with elven magic). He feels vaguely threatened by Doc. - 🎶📂 anon

He also feel strangely attracted to him. It‘a probably nothing. He certainly doesn’t stay up at night thinking about what Doc can do to him.

Bdubs loves the feel of Doc’s fur against his skin. It’s warm and fluffy, and his cybernetics balance it out perfectly. Bdubs can’t help but wonder if all of Doc is like this… well, only one way to find out :)

So he starts exploring Docs body first with his hands then with some other things ;)

That being said.

Doc and BDubs Season 7 is very much "I took half the house in the divorce". They moved too close to each other, fought a lot, then got lonely and missed each other, but didn't want to admit it.

In the end, The Mycelium Resistance teamed up with HEP to get the two back together again. Watching them cry themselves to sleep, or comforting them but not managing to get rid of that sadness they both held was too much for their friends. They just wanted them to be happy.

Bdubs sleep schedule was very sacred to him which was why they split the house in two as Doc stayed up all night working and being loud. Maybe just maybe they’ll realize how much they love each other before the other hermits rip out their hair.
