We are doing a poetry unit in writing, and yesterday my students did an acrostic poem. To recap, I did another acrostic poem with the word ‘star’ today and when I got to the letter r one of my boys shouted out “romantic!” and I wanted to hug him right there because that was the perfect word and it also made everyone in the class go ewwww lool I love it when they get disgusted at lovey dovey stuff

what disgusts me the most is that people are turning on louis and acting like HE is the one orchestrating any of this. that HE deliberately built a homophobic image for himself. that HE ‘let’ fans ship them and then ‘betrayed’ them. that HE is ‘allowing’ any of this baby circus to occur.

louis is the victim of years of abuse and trauma at the hands of people much more powerful than he is. how dare you turn on him when he needs support the most. 

if you’re so ready to believe that ANY of this is his fault or what he wanted, leave. good riddance to you.

and don’t you dare come crawling back when they come out.
