Here I am, overcoming my fears and again sharing an original poem with my beloved tumblr peeps. Soon to share with people I actually know on my other socials.
I love when people refuse to look beyond my shell. That’s not sarcasm, I really love it. Surface level friends are cool, they keep things light and fun. When someone sees past my shell, that’s when it gets scary. Once I know I’m seen, and understood, I open up. My mind has gone places not many go. The world I have inside me can drown you if you don’t know how to swim deep waters. I thrive finding people treading the same deep waters that I have. I love the human connection, whether it’s depth or a little more shallow. Both have powers that are very necessary.
