OMG WILL YOU STFU SEAGULLS! Having been kept awake all last night with the worse muggy heat of 25 degrees with no way of keeping cool, then as I was drifting off at about 4am I was woken again by the birdie dawn rave, then some bird helping itself to a breakfast of cherries from my trees by banging them on the gutter above my open window, and then of course the seagulls decided to get involved and haven’t shut up since. Usually I love birdsong, but I’m really not in the mood right now for the shrill squawking from the devil’s feathery friends when I feel half dead.
