Be a Butterfly

Today, I've read the story about a caterpillar . The story started with a caterpillar who's eating a lot and just settling in one place and later that caterpillar meet another caterpillar which became his friend, so everyday they would just play and eat all day long, then one day the friend did not show up so the caterpillar decided to visit the house of his friend and when he got there the friend was covered with its cocoons,after which the caterpillar heard a voice saying that he must be like his friend too but the butterfly was so persistent and answer back the voice telling that he doesn't want to be enclosed like his friend, no freedom, no food and no more playing because a caterpillar needs to be in its cocoon until such time that they become mature and become a butterfly. Afraid of not doing the things he used to do he left and went back to his place, doing the same thing all day. Then, one day the caterpillar heard the voice of his friend and to his surprise, his friend became a beautiful butterfly, free and flying up in the air. The caterpillar became sad because he is still crawling so the friends cheer him up telling that it is not too late you still have the chance and the story ended with the caterpillar being enclosed in its cocoon.

As I am reading the story, I was imaging and relating the story to all human being.. that at times we are too afraid to explore and take a risk, we would just want to settle to the things we used to do, but our really beauty and success will not be at our hands if all will just be like caterpillars. We need to be a butterfly, beautiful and keeps on soaring up in the air, free to do whatever we wanted to do. But becoming a butterfly is not that easy we need to face every challenges with might, learn to persevere, take risk and Wait for a sweet success and a colorful life awaits for us in the end of our journey.
