There’s a reason I keep talking about play—it gets you back into the state of mind you were in when you were at your creative peak. Back when you were five. Now, “peak” is a bit of a misnomer here, because it’s not that you somehow grew out of your creativity biologically. It’s that you stopped listening to yourself and started listening to others around that age. The great thing about this is that it means your creativity is still there. The downside is that it’s buried under a lifetime’s worth of conditioning that says that it’s silly, or not good enough, or all sorts of other nonsense that our culture loves to tell us is true. You can unlearn the nonsense. It takes courage and strength to go against the culture, but it can be done! And Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching has a whole bunch of fun tools to help you navigate those parts of yourself. Questions? Let me know. Wanna talk? Give me a shout (link in bio!)
