Made with Sesame Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E it has everything your beard needs for the bare essentials for beard care. Because this particular oil is unscented the ingredient list is on the shorter side but that is more than fine by us, especially since the three ingredients chosen are super-oils when it comes to hair and skin care!
Sesame Seed Oil is one of the more studied oils used in holistic medicine but it is often chosen for beard oil because of its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties as well as its excellent moisture retention and soothing abilities. After using this beard oil for a couple weeks we noticed softer and healthier skin and pores as well as thicker and stronger beard follicles.
Jojoba Oil is basically a super-oil when it comes to the benefits it offers for your skin and hair. If you only use one thing for your beard it should be jojoba oil. It resembles our bodies natural and essential oils so closely that our bodies recognize it as our own and thus accept it far better than other oils. It is quick absorbing which helps make it non-greasy, it does not clog your pores, it strengthens your beard follicles and promotes growth, helping to fill in patchy areas or thinner beards.
Vitamin E nourishes the skin and follicles and is a powerful antioxidant that helps repair damaged follicles and pores and strengthens weaker ones.
Because this particular oil is unscented the ingredient list is shorter than most of our readers are used to. Unscented oils are great for any man that prefers his favorite cologne, has sensitive skin or allergies, or chemical sensitivities.
The oil comes in a pump-action bottle making it easy to dispense the desired amount and apply it to your beard without having to fumble with closing any caps with oily hands - I placed the bottle on a shelf with my other grooming items and pumped out a couple drops and that was it, I was done. I could even walk to another room after I got my oil, applying it on the go or as I walked through the house.
