hey remember when i made that power is love way back (on my main blog)? yeah i added some more stuff to it over time, here's the finalized version that i'm finally fully happy with (:

recently ive gotten back into wakfu (the show) and it has me in a chokehold. remembered i have the soundtrack (from the season 4 kickstarter way back), listened to it, got obsessed with “the eliatrope people” track, and suddenly apotheosis popped into my head while listening. so. i did this. (disturbance from ntwewy is in there as well)

have you ever listened to two songs, realize they have nearly the same chord progression, and proceed to go insane until you make it happen

Last night my phone was on shuffle and put The Concept Of Love (Hideki Naganuma, Jet Set Radio Future) and Twister (Takeharu Ishimoto, The World Ends With You) next to each other and i fucking shot up because i realized they were in the same key. so. take this i guess ((i take no credit for the original songs or the cover image obviously, only this specific arrangement of the two pieces))

anyway heres a mashup of jigsaw puzzle, two-faced lovers, world's end dancehall, and the lost one's weeping. because they're all in the same key and fit together. like. like puzzle pieces...... haha see what i did there

back at it again with another TWEWY mashup - this time, it’s all TWEWY music (namely Your Ocean and the NEO remix of Someday, plus a fun surprise at the end) fun fact: every song used in this has the same bpm! i wasnt expecting this to be that easy, but they are all 160! not all the same key, but theyre actually pretty close
your ocean is in f#, and the neo version of someday is in g# (oddly enough, the original someday is in g), so i just had them meet in the middle at g and called it good (the fun surprise is in c)
if i do continue to post these, i will ramble a bit about the process because thats just how i work, so bear with me (also! please keep the fun surprise a fun surprise for others (: i promise it’s not anything awful i just want to have a nice little treat at the end)
