Originally, this piece served as a beat board for an idea I had about Cyanide and Zantafio joining forces. In my story, Cyanide persuades Zantafio to ally with her, promising him some form of payment. Unbeknownst to him, she ultimately betrays him.

In this scene, Zantafio finds himself in a standoff with his cousin, and naturally, he hesitates to shoot him. But don't worry—he's not dead; that ray gun just barely missed his heart.

As for why he couldn't bring himself to shoot Fantasio, it’s important to remember that the characters are family, despite everything that has happened between them. If it had been Spirou instead, Zantafio would not have hesitated to pull the trigger!

Caio, a senior year college student and cynophobe, finds out he is rooming with Collie– a furry and dog-fanatic. He moves in late and gets blindsided by Collie’s canine decorations. Caio freaks out when he sees her most prized possession– her fursona’s fursuit. Caio informs a concerned Collie about his fear of dogs, explaining his reaction. Collie offers to help Caio get over his fear and he (hesitantly) accepts. Theme - Responding to fear with kindness and understanding is the only path to change for the better.

yes, this was an actual pitch i turned in for my college class. no, no one liked it. not even the professor. but its ok my friends and my sister rlly liked it. maybe i'll pick it back up as an actual pitch again, since i already have a bible for it
