I know now that I have hurt you. Even if I did not mean to do so, the harm has been done. As you pointed out, wishing something undone does not undo it, but I wish you un-hurt regardless. I could tell you I am sorry a thousand times and mean every one. 

Please do not be angry with Virgil. He loves you very dearly and he only spoke to me because I came to the shop looking for advice.

My mother used to write my father letters whenever he travelled as a way to keep her in his heart. I write you now in hopes that I’ve not entirely lost my place in yours. Your place in my own has not changed.

Would you let me explain myself, if we saw each other again? I do very much long to see you again. Not just to explain and apologize properly, but because your company thrills me. You are a truly singular experience.

If you are willing, I would love for you to see my home. There is a gift waiting for you there, should you want it. I can’t say it’s truly just an apology gift, as I have been thinking of how well it would suit you for quite a bit now.
