Review on a sixth episode of 'Becoming YouTube' by Benjamin Cook called 'A Conversation With John Green'

So hello everybody.this week we will talk about the sixth episode of 'Becoming YouTube' by Benjamin Cook called "A Conversation With John Green" This is a link to this episode where you can find all useful information about it in the description box: http://youtu.be/Tnra9YsD4Cw

It is started with Ben talking about when and where he met John Green and about what was their first conversation.

John Green is talking that he adore to help others to be nerdfighters and they started to talking when and how Vlogbrothers became famous , it was something unreal and magical for them !

Ben is talking about Charlie McDonalld experience of VidCon when he was like a member of 'One Direction' :D Ben is talking that they are a lot of young YouTubers have not got a support of doing videos , John is thinking that in nowadays young people want to be popular and like for example him , he did all his videos by himself , filming , editing and downloading , ALL by himself and he enjoy it! After they are tslking about VidCon and gatherings at all, after all this gatherings where he had stress and panic attacks , it is not very easy to live your routine again! For example , during VidCon there are people who are shaking came to him asking for a hug and he said 'no' it is a real bad situation , but it is the only way to protect his personal space ! So we must respect this ! His advice is be generous and respect others !

When he met people he really admires them like his heros , not like humans ! In UK YouTube gatherings became really popular and for VidCon : YouTubers (creators) and viewers stay in the same hotel and have same parties ! Most creators are viewers and more viewers are creators , this is the truth! It isn't the same with Comic Con , for example! In VidCon they try to made a really friendly atmosphere , Charlie made meet -ups for the first time , so they will try to figure it! Now , we are in 2014 and they made it , there are a lot of meet-ups , panels and etc. In the fifth episode Ben described nerdfighteria and now he asked John what he think about it,is it true? He said , like you know , this is a community building , they thought it was really amazing , he didn't imagine that he after 6 years he will do videos ! Before it was a really small community and now can it be more then Hank and John Green and it will be good that they are a lot of people who didn't watch John and Hank but they are nerdfighters ! There a lot of kinds of Nerdfighteria , when they make friends , connexion! It is a messy world of nerds , because there are nerds of Doctor Who or of Harry Potter books or even John's books ! The idea of 'Becoming YouTube' was that he , Ben will become a YouTuber with all these series ! And how to deal with a few nerds who don't like you ? It was a question to John! John is a big believer that if you protect yourself and model ways of talking with them , it will be okay ! There are people who said that Nerdfighteria changed their lives for better and John he never think that he changed someone's life ! Ben said that he can't changed someone's life , it is impossible for him to imagine this ! John didn't think that he is an inspiration for someone , it is weird for him. 2012 a year when there were a lot of new YouTuber , usually male , usually good-looking (Ben is smilling) :)

People start to build a new formula to grow an audio , now it is more like a job to earn money. And for merch , they think about it , how to earn a little bit money or not always merch ! And it takes a lot of work and it is not bad to earn money while you are working on something ! The final question is 'Why you can't do all your things on TV?' Because , they is not the same thing , on YouTube you can do , not always , what you want and you have more possibilities to make something good ! And it is finished with a cool song of Alex Day and optimistic thoughts of John Green!

Review on a fifth episode of 'Becoming YouTube' by Benjamin Cook called 'Why is a Nerdfighter?(And So Can You)

So hello everybody this week we will talk about the fifth episode of ‘Becoming YouTube’ by Benjamin Cook called ‘Why is a Nerdfighter?(And So Can You) This is a link to this episode where you can find all useful information about it in the description box: http://youtu.be/r4UF0F1yi14

It is started with the quotation by John Green:

After we can see a first sketch with Ben and Charlie McDonnell in the park and Ben is talking about his dream which he has every night , and it is always Charlie there ,band he is always talking about ‘nerdfighters’ and suddenly Benjamin understood that this a dream again,and they are not wearing pants :D

After it is so crazy , so Ben woke up because of his nightmare and he’s scared:(

Ben is talking about that this episode is all about nerds and nerdfighter and he is talking about John and Hank Green like Jack and Dean if they were brothers and wrote books …

So he is talking about Vlogbrothers and DFTBA project and all their charity projects. This video is about fandoms,all about good and bad sides of fandoms,communities! And then YouTubers are talking about Nerdfighteria , they are talking about John and Green that their videos are intelligent and really encourage! Tomska said that they are really annoying :D

They are YouTubers , that are really above the others…. For others nerdfighteria is really good and they are proud for this because they try to make world better!

Ben is talking that there are a lot of guys that they are like social awkward and they try to be like this , really there a lot of people who want promote it and celebrate it !

You might be a nerd about all,and this is good to be like this if you social awkward and there is an area when they can meet others :)

That is the big project!

To find nerdfighetrs you must think like a nerdfighter , so in this sketch we can see Ben trying to do a free hug thing in Trafalgar square in London with TimH.

So he find a lot of them and put them in a secret location to test then in different ways:D

And we can hear a lot of different opinions and different ways of testing them and is really funny:D In the 21 century we seem to be individuals to think in another way,like :we are all individuals and one guy is like :’I am not’ , so he think that he is different!

And Jack said that if you are a nerdfighter you musn’t be a prick and it was shown for us a man who think that he is a Slender Man , this is a little bit creepy!

After Ben share his opinion about Nerdfighteria and Ben is not a Herdfighter! And it is oaky to hate someting and Tomska is talking about this. ‘Hate is beautiful' that what she said :D

YouTube idols are as beautiful,talented as you are maybe a little bit rich that you are because of this fucking merch:D

And after next week video,so next episode is a Scype conversation with John Green , it will be something different!

Ben said that he is always reading comments and watching videos responses!

So he said ‘Ta Ta’ which was goodbye and we can see like Charlie McDonnell ‘thank you for watching ’ and nerdfighter which is running and Tim and Ben watching him:D

And there is always a good music in ‘Becoming YouTube’ , I adore this!

Hello everybody, 
today it will be a review on a fourth episode of ‘ Becoming YouTube ’ by Benjamin Cook called ” A Tale of two Gatherings ” This is a link to this episode where you can find all useful information about it in the description box http://youtu.be/7H_lRfVnhrI

In this episode we will know more about 'gathering'! So it is started with a lot of little footages of Marcus Butler , Chris Kendall , Alex Day , Jack and Dean and others well-known YouTubers! ' Youtube has changed dramatically and people(viewers) must change too it is really hard but do this stuff! '

And like usual we can see Ben who present us this episode and talking about what it will be. He is outside walking through a freezing cold London park instead of vlogging in comfort at home.

This week 'Becoming YouTube' is different,this week it is all about gathering! And he is talking that this year 'Summer in the city' it is not free,like it was always!

We can see the evolution of YouTube gathering and also we can see some tweets of YouTubers and how they think about it. In 2013 ' Summer in the city ' want to be a little bit like all this americans events : VidCon , Playlist Live which attracts thousands of viewers and fangirls. This day it will be an event with all YouTubers talking about their videos and other stuff. After we can see the opinions of YouTubers what they think about 'gathering' and how it was lately. ' Like gathering sometime is really bad because there are a lot of people who want to meet one person and they surround him and it became crazy and scary. '

' Also it is exhausted for YouTubers to be always smiling and taking pictures,they are humans too. '

' Sometimes there are a lot of weird people who want to touch their noses or hair. '

After we can see Ben at his house with so lovely lights in a background so he is talking about his experience of a 'gathering' event , his first event was in December 2011 , it was a festive gathering with like 200 people in London park! This year Ben knew that he wanted to start making 'Becoming YouTube' videos but he didn't know where to start so he went in this festive where were YouTubers and their subscribers and we can see all this footage and listen to 'Good morning sunshine' by Alex Day. Ben had a lot of hugs and he is talking with YouTubers what is happening there.So it was so funny and nice to see all these personalities in one place

.

After YouTubers are telling us about his first experience with 'gathering'!

' It is not always comfortable ' ' YouTubers are not celebrities they are our friends ' ' And also other YouTubers found their friends because of 'gatherings' ' Many YouTubers feel uncomfortable when you think that they are celebrities! Ben attended for the first time 'Summer in the city' in 2012 and it was inside for the first time We can see a footage from there!

'Summer in the city' has changed a lot and it was last weekend , so it has a lot of meetings , panels , concert and other stuff which was a little bit like a Vidcon in 2014! What i love most in 'Summer in the city' that it is not so expensive,not crowded SO MUCH and it has this lovely atmosphere,yes VidCon has it all , but there are a lot of people.

Also Ben interviewed a creator of 'Summer in the city' and he is telling us how it was and what 'Summer in the city' is in nowadays.

After Ben is talking about Bertie Gilbert and he was in unsafe situation with his fans!!! And that's why in 2012 it was a decision to sale tickets to make it safe. Ben enjoyed 'Summer in the city' in 2012 there were a lot good people! We can see a footage where Ben is in the mud and then a young lady came to give him a hug and to make sure that he was okay,so niceee:)

And he gave to 'gathering' a second chance because there are a lot of happy and nice people and he called it 'AWESOME' so he was sick behind the tree:D and he said that you can buy tickets for SITC 2013 and come to say 'hello' he will be with this stupid red hair! And he was sick behind the tree,okay!

And it is a footage of running Ben like in a first episode it is fabulous,he read a ioletter from his old friend,and he left YouTube and so Ben is so sad and might be alone and obviously it was a joke! Also that's all for this episode!

Not all , we can see Marcus doing his 'hello' thing in the toilet and Ben saw this and it was awkward , after Caspar came:D
