Today's my 22nd birthday! 🎂💖🌌🌠 As you can see, I got a couple of pieces of new Matrix merch, the Neo Build-a-Bear teddy being from my parents and the Funko Soda being from my aunt and uncle (which I actually got a rare variant of, as it happens, where he's on the phone as pictured). 😍🔥 I've also been given a bee necklace and scarf as also shown, as well as some Lindt and Thornton's chocolates, some new pyjamas, and a pair of leather gloves that I'm going to use for my Trinity cosplay when I go to comic con later this year. 💓
Also, this year some of my cards were BEE-themed. The first one you can see was sewn and homemade by my mum, and she and my dad made my cake bee-themed, which I'd said to them I liked the idea of as something a little bit different after my cake for my 21st last year was Matrix-themed. 😁🐝🍯
I did have the ache in my non-existent balls of having to go to work today, complete with meetings, but that's why I waited until I got home tonight - to make it pay off - before opening my parents' presents and doing my planned rewatch of Matrix 1. Although I did take a slice of the bee cake with me to have at work. 😊🍰
