Beautiful Plants I Discovered This Week
1. Craspedia Globosa
This plant stood out to me because of it's cute, tiny yellow flowers! A plant with an interesting spherical shape, it is a perennial and also good for pollinators.
2. Dahlia "Moonfire"
Single petalled dahlias are good for wildlife so they can reach the pollen. I particularly like this perennial variety as the dark foliage coupled with the eye burning flowers makes them look beautiful in a slightly odd, sinister way.
3. Lilium Regale
Most lilies do not interest me as they look too artificial for my liking. I love these lilies because the flowers look so delicate with their small trumpet shape, and the pale veins of pink. These are perennial bulbs so you can enjoy them every year.
4. Bird of Paradise
A punky looking plant with spikes resembling an actual bird of paradise. (or a mohican) The orange of the plant contrasts so well, especially with the vibrant tips of the leaves. Another perennial, it's generally considered a tropical plant but cold climates can just about grow it as a houseplant.
