BEE Christmas Shopping!

I bought this set last year and this year from Sephora. I keep these moisturizing hand creams from L’Occitane in my purse. You could break this set up or gift the entire pack. Includes Cherry Blossom, Almond Delicious, Shea Butter Delightful Rose, and Shea Butter.

I’ve heard the masks from Peter Thomas Roth are fantastic so I bought this pack from Sephora. Again gift the whole set or break them up into multiple stockings. I can’t wait to use these myself. Includes Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask , 24K GoldMask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm, Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask, Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme De-tox Hydrator, and Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer.

Also a Sephora purchase so I could try out all the Mario Badescu mists. I’ve used a couple full sizes already as facial toner after cleansing my face. Highly recommend the Aloe Cucumber and Green Tea, but excited about Aloe Herbs and Rosewater plus Aloe Chamomile and Lavendar.

When in doubt, try a trial size, which is also good for stockings. This is the Tarte Creaseless Concealer that I’ve been trying out the past month and I really like it for under eye and concealing on other areas of the face.

These 2 fragrances have been my go to the past few weeks.  Check them out!

Oui from Juicy Couture was sent to me as a PR Sample and I’m so glad I received it.  Fresh and floral!  Top notes are Watermelon, Acai Tea Natureprint, and Pear Infusion.  Middle Notes are Jasmine Absolute, Wild Tuberose, Dewy Honeysuckly Natureprint.  Bass Notes are Techno Woods, Amber Resins, and Captive Musks.

I’ve been trying to get through my box of samples and it’s going fairly well.  Read my opinions on the samples I have used up this past week.  Each sample used will get rated using my exclusive system.  What samples have you used up?  Leave it in the comments!

If I didn’t have so many back up cleansers I would have already purchased one of these. I like everything about the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser from the texture to performance to the scent.

We buy Biofreeze for cold therapy pain relief from our Chiropractor and we travel with these little samples. Usually I don’t need them but on our last trip I twisted my ankle and jarred my back. So thankful we had this in our toiletry kit.

I totally thought this was a face wash and used it up while we were on vacation. Turns out it’s minty cooling goodness is for your hair and body. Thankfully I didn’t get any near my eyes. I’m sure this would be a fantastic body wash, especially in the morning. That mint scent will wake you up for sure.

I used this on vacation as a serum, but it’s more of a lotion texture. It was OK. I really don’t remember much about it and would have to use it for at least a week to decide whether I would want to purchase a full size.

The Face Shop has great sheet masks. There haven’t been any I disliked and The Solution Nourishing Face Mask was no exception.

Pure Smile Red Ginseng Essence Mask with Vitamin E, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid was a good mask. I cannot remember where I got this, possibly in a swap with another blogger. If I saw this brand I would try this and more. It says Made in Korea on the back but everything else is in Korean so I can’t read it.

L’Oreal’s Voluminous Feline Mascara in Black 628 was a very pleasant surprise. The formula is wet so I would let it dry out a week and then it’s perfect. You do need to be careful in how much is on your wand or you can gets clumps. Otherwise it’s good for volume, lasts all day without smudging or flaking.

Ingenium Naturals Neem Detox All Natural Soap Bar I received free as PR. I liked it but do prefer a shower gel or body wash. It can be used on both hair and body but I only use it on my body. The Neem Oil is used in traditional Indian medicine to aid in the healing of various skin issues.

Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer is good and I would use it again but it did’t knock my socks off. It is lightweight so good for hot and humid summer days, but moisturizes well so I can imagine it would still hold up to our harsh winter weather.

I have soooo many body washes to use up that I’m not buying any in 2017. This Evening Primrose Revitalizing Body Wash from Weleda was sent to me as a PR sample by M2 Brand Management. I meant to try it out for a week, but liked it so much I kept using it. It has a creamy texture but then foams up well on a netted sponge. I would use this again and would like to try the others available in this line.

I am very low maintenance on my hair so while I liked what the Living Proof Restore Mask Treatment did for my hair once a week, it’s not something I feel the need to go out and repurchase. I also have a hard time waiting the whole 5 minutes this is supposed to stay on your hair for best results. I sometimes used it as a conditioner substitute.

The BVSpa Salt Scrub was sent to me as a PR sample and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart. The salt is just scrubby enough that it exfoliates well, but not too harsh you feel you’re cutting your skin. I did find that to do your whole body you would use a quarter of the tube so I could see this products being used up very quickly. I loved the Pink Grapefruit scent and would pick this up in store if I saw it on sale or had a coupon. You know I like my deals and discounts!

Weleda Jardin de Vie Agrume au naturelle perfume smells soooooo good and makes a great spring/summer fragrance. I miss this already and apparently it is discontinued. If you know where I can get one let me know in the comments. I received this as free PR through M2 Brand Management. It usually takes me forever to use up perfumes so the fact that I was able to completely empty this within 5 months says it all.

I’m still taking my Plexus Slim pink drink every morning and have remembered to take the other 2 complimentary products each night the past 2 weeks. Hoping to notice some results soon.

Best moisturizer from the batch I judged for the Elle Canada Beauty Grand Prix. This is the Darphin Lumiere Essenvielle Illuminating Oil Gel- Cream. There is a rose scent that might not be for everyone. The texture is amazing and my skin did brighten and hydrate. For me this works best in Fall and Winter as I need something a bit lighter for warm weather. Now available at Shoppers Drug Mart too.

Avon Anew Clinical advanced retexgturizing peel with Glycolic Acid are pre soaked round pads that you apply after your toner. I can use these every other night. More frequently and my cheeks get angry with me. I have already repurchased and notice the difference in skin texture especially on my forehead and nose. It’s just smoother when I’m using these on a regular basis.

I should have used up this facial oil sooner. I had so many that by the time I got back to this one it smelled off. I used it for two weeks last year and remember liking how my skin felt so I would try The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil again.

Demeter sent me a package of cologne sprays awhile ago and I did a whole blog post review on them. This one seems to have gone off before I could use most of it so it has to go. I liked the scent and the concept of mixing the sprays to create your own unique fragrance.
