Omfg it’s so hard to choose just one, but one of my favorites to tell people is that honeybee hives vote on decisions, such as where to move if circumstances call for it! Many seem to think that bees are something of a “hive mind” but that’s so, so far from the truth.
I must admit, I don’t know much about how intentionally linking works, but I do have some tips on how I connect to bees when I feel a little distant that might be of use in this situation! I try to mimic behaviors and movements such as headbutting, waggling, grooming, making “whoop” noises, buzzing, and i would also recommend doing research on washboarding, festooning, sleeping habits, sharing food, etc. in addition, i like to surround myself with bee related things and people, spend time in the sun, eat sweet foods, and make so many bee puns…
Of course!!!! I adore honey, but it makes me sick in large amounts. And even if you don’t like honey at all, you can still be a honeybee. Or, if you prefer, you might want to look into other similar bee species. Bees are incredibly diverse, and not all of them produce or feed on honey. Either way, you don’t need to fill any sort of requirement to be a bee, and that includes liking honey. If anyone gets on your ass about it, tell them you have express permission from me lol.
