HI BESTIE QUESTION ABOUT IMAGE IDS: i always start them with like “[image id: “ and the end bracket - when you describe an image in its alt text are you supposed/do you have to/do ppl generally still add that?

HIIIII !! no you don’t have 2 do that when you do alt text; my screenreader tells me when it ends. there’s like no harm done if u do but it takes away from the character limit which on tumblr is rlly short :(

oh it happens on here all the time. theyre usually like, indirect about it, like, an afab nb person will describe as a “trans lesbian”, recently there’s been use of the terms tma/tme (transmisogyny affected/exempt) instead of afab/amab, so like, some afabs have been self describing as tma because they like, idk, think theyre affected by transmisogyny because we live in a society, and an afab intersex person who’s on hrt self describes as transfem becuas theyre taking hormones to increase femininity. its a lot
