#beetle?

Another bug for the community to identify found it outside in a parking lot with its belly up already dead! Thought it was a leaf at first :3 I didn’t pick it up but from what I could tell it had a tough shell and the lil mandibles made me think maybe a beetle?

Some recent photos. My girlfriend @wallcritter got an awesome picture of the solar eclipse. I don’t know who this little beetle friend is! They are about the size of a grain of sand. Very smol
