ㅤpoised atop the roof of some record shop with a half empty bottle of vodka in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other, byan feels like a delinquent teen all over again, and not in a fun way. the shout coming from the street below, clearly directed at them, only doubles down on that feeling. heaving an irritable exhale, they stagger toward the nearest ledge and peer downward. here they'd thought it was late enough that the store would be closed and no one would be still be around to give them shit about trespassing or loitering or whatever...

ㅤㅤ" bite me! "ㅤthe spiteful and petulant retort is shouted at the figure that's staring back up at them, and byan pops their cigarette between their lips in order to make a rude gesture at him with their hand. they've never had a knack for maturity, and the amount of alcohol in their system at this point certainly doesn't help. can't a guy get fucked up in peace around here???

glance: At first glance, what stands out most about your OC's appearance? What's their distinguishing feature?

everything about byan's appearance stands out — from their bold and colourful makeup looks all the way down to the obnoxiously thick soles of their platform boots, every part of their look is crafted to draw attention. that being said, i do think their clothes are probably the most initially eye-catching thing about them. their fashion choices are extremely loud, both in colour selection and in style; lots of short skirts and cropped tops, many straps and chains, they're all cutesy femme imagery with elements of vaguely masculine punk. and like, let's be real, it's not often you cross paths with someone who's got a sort of kawaii grunge vibe going on. you're gonna notice them whether you want to or not.

as for their distinguishing feature... it's gotta be their eyes. big and bright and sharp, but always watchful. a pretty brown so deep they look black, framed by long lashes and bright eyeliner. byan's eyes are the window to their soul — or at least to their emotions. you can see every single thing they're feeling at almost any given time with a striking intensity, and that's something they've always hated. their eyes are too expressive, always giving them away when they least want someone to know how they feel about something.

honestly? byan's look holds true in basically any au you put them in. even in verses where fashion is less evolved, like in a fantasy sort of setting, their style is always very alternative and unique to them. they refuse to be trapped in to any norms!!!! they're mashing feminine and masculine looks into one very byan thing no matter what and no one can stop them!!!

"when i was a trainee, sunnie had some of us take some production classes, but never me. not that i minded, i mean, i'm always gonna be more into dancing, but ... what's it like?" his nose scrunches at the question, and he realizes how ridiculous it sounds as soon as it's out of his mouth. you'd think harper's never been around musicians a day in his life. "let me rephrase. what inspires you to make music? those nice songs of yours definitely don't appear out of thin air."
