#beginner witch help

Ive been on a hiatus from witchcraft since sometime last year but I still do small things from time to time.

I recently bought black salt from an etsy shop and they owner through in this little candle package and something Ive never heard of before called cascarilla powder.

I did a quick google search and I first thought it was just egg shell powder until I looked into it more and found that egg shell powder and cascarilla powder are two different things.

This is where it gets murky for me, so it may or may not be from a closed practice and that closed practice may or may not be hoodoo? The shop I bought this powder from does have cascarilla as a stand alone item and it does say "witchcraft | hoodoo" but I still dont know if the contents of the powder is eggshell or cascarilla plant/crab shell.

I'm just at a loss for what to do with it. I don't want to disrespect anyone or any practice. Im not sure if I should try and respectfully get rid of it or leave it somewhere.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

Hello; Witchcblr!!

How’re you doing today? I hope you’re doing well!! My name is Eleanor; I’m a 17 year old lesbian, and I’ve been practicing witchcraft for a little over five years now! What I’m going to be sharing with you all today is a page from my book of shadows that I typed up!

So; let’s get to it!

The days of the week and what they’re good for!!

I have the days ordered starting with Monday and Ending with Sunday; but I don’t necessarily think it’s all that important to always start with Sunday, that’s just my opinion though.

A common question I get asked about my associations is:

How did I come up with these associations?

Now, these are just my own personal associations; these are not the “end all be all” of what you can associate the days with. I can not stress that enough!! How I came up with these was by researching how the days got their names(if that makes sense). And if they were connected to a deity(aka Thursday=Thor’s day), I did extra reading on what that deity is associated with in that pantheon; then I looked up similar deities from any pantheon(as in, how the Roman and Greek deities are similar) to cross reference my findings on the original one.

I know, that’s a lot of reading and time spent on one day; but that’s just how I roll! So, instead of having shallow, one-sided “conversations” about TV shows that I don’t watch; I do this!! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! All my information was pulled from my Book of Shadows, so I don’t remember if I quoted any websites(I truly don’t believe I did)... but! Please ask questions!! If you don’t ask questions about something you don’t understand, then how will it ever make sense?
