check out these fancy skill toys I got from aroundsquare, my tiny audience of followers. on the left are knucklebones, or knuckle rollers—in raw walnut and polished titanium. on the right are begleri in stainless steel and delrin. came with some sweet additional paracord colors and was initially strung on the white, I switched it to this black/white color. all beautiful objects, now I just need to learn how to use them all! I like the knucklebones in particular & will focus on those first—they already feel satisfying even though it’s my first day using them. I hope I can get a good flow going with practice and start to get creative with moves soon.

I found out that begleri exist and i realized thats basically how i play with my fidget pad most the time (its on a string), so i decided to get myself some rope and beads and make a real one, but you cant really only buy two beads and one foot of rope, so i have enough stuff to make, like, so many begleri, and im probably gonna sell them. I’ll do some experimentation myself before i make them for sale, but while im waiting for everything to come in the mail i’m wondering if anyone on here has any opinions. Should the beads be free to slide along the rope, or be fixed in place at the ends? Whats the ideal length? How do you feel about tassels or loops at the end(s)? Is there anything else about them you have opinions on?
