🎨 Valerius De Saedeleer (belga, 1867-1941), Noche de invierno, 1924.
Supspace ask inspired me, how do some of the mentally weaker guns feel when they're moved from a cruel master who never gave affection to one that seemingly provides it constantly? Anytime they do anything well, they're getting a hug
Ninety
He's scared of you at first, flinching away from touch, and hiding for fear of what you might want to do to him. You have to coax him out with food and gentle words, but that does a lot to help his trust. Once he feels safer around you, the affection is amazing. It empties his head of everything except how wonderful it feels to lie in your lap and be told that he's good. He's a good dog now, and you're so very gentle with him. He finally can relax when he's in your arms.
Belga
He's a wild, unpredictable brat whether he's with a cruel Master or a kind one. But... you're different. You're nice to him, even when he's doing everything wrong. It's weird to have someone who listens to him and wants him to feel safe, and eventually, he starts wanting to be good. He's still terrible at it, but being picked up and held always seems to shut off his brain a little bit. He melts into your hugs like he was made to be there, and nearly falls asleep like that every time.
Herme
He's frustrated with the lack of discipline you're showing him, but compliant nonetheless. Don't you understand, Master? He's nothing but thinking iron. He doesn't need this softness. For a while, it makes him feel unbearably fleshy and human and wrong, but eventually, he starts to crumble. Much like Iron Days, it's an empty-headed state where all he can think to do is follow orders and obey. He can convince himself that he's being used like a tool.
Eins
It takes a while for your kindness to affect him, but little by little, he's worn down. The bond starts getting to him, and he's feeling so much more than he's used to. He doesn't know how to process the flare of instinctive warmth when you hug him, or the hazy longing that closes in when you treat your tool so tenderly. He's never had a chance to feel this close to a Master before, and it does things to his head that take a while to be anything but unbearably raw.
Hokusai
In his usual warped way, he starts out thinking of it as an experiment. Surely, that's the only reason you have to be like this. You're testing something, and all he needs to do is provide results. He'll narrate the physiological effects that the Master bond has on him, the racing heart, the fuzzy feeling in his head, the fluttery, giggly state that makes him unable to think of anything but you. He's not used to this much attention, and it makes him weak.

Given a tiny that has no fuckin clue the danger they're in.
Like, you'd have to spell it out for this tiny that "you are in the hands of a giant and are about to get eaten" kinda stupid. But, hey, that just, somehow, makes them just that much more appealing to keep around for a little while.
Carry them around in your hand as they babble on and on about all they've managed to 'borrow' from you. Just give em a minute to let them realize just how deep of shit they've put themselves in when they spill ALL of it.
Cause they don't know when to stop. They're like a cat. "You're not a giant, deadly creature that could kill me with a singe finger. You're just a big tiny!"
And that's when they aren't just completely enraptured by the things around him that he couldn't dream of passing by with the speed your moving at while just walking.
That's all they're worried about.
You could have this tiny in your mouth and they'd just be gushing about how cool and sharp your teeth look.
Make a little experiment out of it.
Swallow them.
See if they figure out just how easily they could have died there if you didn't send them to your storage just then.
And don't mistake this for trust!
This is pure stupidity, my friend.
Don't even get me started on the fact they'd actually try to fight you if they got upset at something you said. You think they're joking?
Try again.
This bitch has no sense of self-preservation nor do they even know what it means to. To them, they're getting ready to square up with a person who was an idiot. Not them.
Watch the cogs slowly turn in their head when they realize they're trying to fight someone who's fist is the size of them.
And when they realize, do they backtrack? Try to save themselves?
Hell no! This just makes it more fun! More challenging!
