I need help finding an AU, and part of the problem is IDK if I read it or dreamed about reading it. It was a New Moon AU where Bella is either friends with Jake or falls in love with him, but he dies when Victoria attacks with her new born army. Victoria ends up changing Bella, who then moves to Alaska, goes to college, and becomes a medical scribe which is how she runs into Carlisle several years later. I'm pretty sure it exists because of all the details I have but I can't find it!

I’ve honestly never given it enough thought to have a preference, but lately it seems like most of what I write is non-linear! I guess I like writing that way because I love good setup/payoff stories and I like when past events directly inform or enhance the action in the present (aka what I’m…trying to do with Steadfast)
