“You know, that look is gonna give you away.” Mary said quietly, a small smirk playing across her features.
Callum glanced at her before immediately going back to glaring at the two across the room, “I don’t know what you’re on about.”
“Callum, have you considered crushing on someone who isn’t dating someone else for once?” Mary rolled her eyes.
Callum turned his glare towards Mary, but faltered almost immediately. Mary was the nicest girl he knew. Unfortunately, that made it impossible to be mad at her.
“I’m not crushing on anyone this time.” He said finally, turning deliberately back towards his term paper.
“Uh huh,” Mary only chuckled under her breath, “Whatever you say.”
