Hi :) Do you know how much can Harry do in weights? I believe his couch said that one time. Idk.
Hi love. Yeah, the trainer he worked with to prep for Dunkirk spoke about it:
Harry's trainer Ben Bruno said Harry can pull more than 500 pounds on a rope with just his upper body.
[…]
“It is actually freakish,” Ben said according to The Sun.
[…]
In his training, Ben said Harry would probably make most people envious. "He trained very, very hard for the movie. Every day, in fact. He is the guy most guys hate because he's good at everything,” Ben told The Sun.
[…]
Again, we ask: Tell us something we don’t know. It turns out Ben answered: “He can do more than any of the pro-athletes I train, believe it or not."

benbrunotraining Happy birthday, @jaimiealexander! I’m so happy that Jaimie is back in town training. We’ve trained together for either six years or six months, depending on how you look at it. I trained her for about six months when I first moved to LA, then we took a 5+ year hiatus when she moved to NYC for a tv show, and now we’re recently back at it. She tells people I’m her trainer because she’s cool like that, and I go along with it because she’s in amazing shape so it makes me look like a good trainer, but the truth is, I haven’t really trained her all that much. While I love training her since we laugh the whole time, I’m more thankful to have her as a friend, and we’ve probably hung out more socially than actually training. She was actually one of my first friends when I moved to LA. I moved here not knowing anyone, and let me tell you: it’s lonely when you don’t have any friends, and it’s hard to make friends when you don’t have any friends. Jaimie was one of the first people to be nice to me, and she was so good about inviting me to gatherings so I could meet people. I’ve never forgotten that. She’s also the one responsible for getting me on tv initially because she told the people at the Today Show to have me on. I’m lucky to know her and I’m excited to train for this new movie role. Show her some birthday love because she’s a real gem.

"Three months ago @nina had a freak dirtbike accident that resulted in a torn ACL and meniscus along with a tibia plateau fracture. Such a bummer, but rather than sit around and sulk, she did everything she could to get healthy again 👏
I’m a trainer, not a physical therapist. She had great physical therapists working on the injured knee directly. As a trainer I work AROUND injuries; so in the case of a knee, we focused on upper body, core, and the healthy leg. Pain-free movement has a myriad of physical benefits, and it also helps mentally because if you’ve ever sustained a serious injury, you know that the mental side of rehab can be brutal.
Here are the general rules I live by as a trainer with regard to injury—both my own personal injuries, and with clients.
- NEVER train through pain. That’s a battle with your body that you’ll never win.
- Focus on what you CAN do rather than what you CAN’T do. Nina was still able to challenge herself with upper body and core exercises, which serves the physical benefit of staying in shape and serves the mental benefit of getting out of patient mode.
- Train the healthy limb. You can Google the ‘cross transfer effect’ to learn more, but basically, working the good leg—or good arm, in the case of an upper body injury—provides some of the performance benefits to the injured limb.
It’s great to see Nina up and at em’, and she definitely worked really hard to get back in action. This stuff she’s doing is no joke 💪
If you have any questions about any of the specific moves, feel free to ask."
