I had my quarterly card game tonight with the boys. Ben apparently has moved back to Little Rock and is again doing the thing where he loses a bunch of weight as quickly as possible.

Dear Gus & Baby #2,

I met Wig and Chlope for tea and coffee on our back porch this afternoon. Bone tagged along with Wig. It’s the first time I’ve seen him in the flesh since last November, I think. We usually meet on Wig’s porch, but I had to stay home today while painters painted. They’ve already painted Gus’s room, they’re finishing Baby #2′s room today, and they’re getting started on the dining room and downstairs bathroom this afternoon.

For the second day in a row Gus asked for breakfast for dinner, so I made us cheesy eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. I should’ve made it last night, too, because we both tore it up.
