been rewatching this show due to @hauntedbyers rewatching it. it's an infection of some kind

steve is a nonbender and that's the way his parents like it. they don't want him playing in the dirt, even if they're gone for days or weeks at a time.

jonathan is the earthbender who's been "tossing" pebbles at his back after school every day for about a week. at first, he was mad at steve for something stupid he did, then eventually he forgot what it was. now he just likes the way steve looks confused (and angry, very angry) when he can't find the source of the pebbles.
