au: where ryback and curtis go to the prom together

Ryback was snapped back to reality when he saw Curtis come downstairs in his tux. He had that cute boyish smile on his face and Ryback stood still, taking in his appearance. Curtis looked beautiful he's never used that word for another man but in this moment it's the only one her had to describe Curtis. As he held out his hand to Curtis, which he told and smiled at him. "You look amazing" 

Curtis smiled "So do you" 

Ryback who hates taking pictures, actually let Curtis' mom snap some shots of him and Curtis before they left. but not before she kissed them both on the cheek and told them to be careful and telling Ryback to take care of Curtis, which he promised to do. 

Once they got to the school gym, Ryback was just happy to be in Curtis' presence, he wasn't much for proms and dances but he would be happy to go wherever Curtis' wanted to.

"Ryback let's go to the photo booth"

Ryback groaned. "No"

"Please"

"You're mom already got some pictures of us"

"I know but I want us to take some pictures in the booth together come on Ryback"

Curtis pouted and gave him those puppy dog eyes and he gave in "Alright alright.. let's go"

Curtis smiled big and pulled Ryback along to the photo booth where they both got in. 

"So how does this thing work"

"You've never been in a photo booth?" he chuckled at how awkward Ryback looked in the booth

"You know I hate taking pictures alright"

"Okay it's about to take a bunch of pictures of us so just do some poses cool" 

Ryback nodded and heard a flash

"Shit i wasn't ready"

Curtis laughed and continued posing for the pictures. As the last shot was coming up Curtis kissed Ryback on the cheek catching Ryback off guard. Ryback just stared at Curtis, feeling his insides melt from that kiss. 

"Come on let's see how our pictures turned out" He pulled Ryback out, grabbing the pictures. 

"They look really good" He gave Ryback a set of their pictures

Ryback smiled "Yeah they do" He looked at Curtis and to the dance floor

"Dance with me?" 

Curtis smiled and nodded taking his hand as Ryback led him to the dance floor

Ryback put his arms around Curtis' waist and Curtis looked up at him

"Do you think we'd get in trouble if I kissed you right now"

Ryback shrugged "I don't know but i'm willing to found out" He smiled as he cupped Curtis' cheeks and kissed him softly. 

"I've been dying to do that for a long time"

"I'm glad you finally did" 

Ryback couldn't be happier than he was in this moment, here at prom with Curtis. Anywhere with Curtis felt like paradise.

oh god the KISS CAM i'm having a moment. this is perFECT!!!

i'm sO glad you liked it!!!! i thought the idea of a kiss cam was SO cute it and it killed me writing it!!!! (i have so many cute fluffy rybaxel ideas help)
