I figured if I made myself a whole ass art blog, I should probably actually post something

Anyways, this is probably my absolute favorite piece of done (and the one that took the longest, I worked on it over the course of May to July of 2023)

All mechanical pencils with one reference, I still have no idea what possessed me to draw this as I have never achieved this level of art ever again

I do wish I had waited on the blue lines bc they're shaky and it messed with the effect. I also wish I hadn't inked the signature box and, y'know, I wish I could actually meet Benedict Cumberbatch while I just happened to have my three year old sketchbook on hand, but a guy can dream

Remember how Benedict worked hard for the role of the dragon Smaug? Well, this drawing is not about that.

There is a story, AU, currently in the process of writing/drawing, in which Sinister Strange is a dragon who kidnaps a (beautiful princess) court magician, a strong, skillful, beautiful sorcerer, but a little sad for personal reasons. Their story begins as a feud, but those who follow the wonderful art of @slasher-art know that they cannot be enemies for long. (And who doesn’t know and who is already 18 years old, here's the link ⤵ There is so much beautiful there) Thank you Slasher for what a joy to create with you. Do anything with you. I won't get tired of repeating it.☺
