JWCC Benrius is like a "comfort" ship for me and here is why

They care deeply for each other

One is able to feel when the other isn't alright.

Complementing the last topic, I need to add that Darius knows when Ben is trying to hide how he is feeling from him.( This is not a headcanon I'm just interpreting it based on the scenes we have of them )

Their personalities match each other insanely well. And I'm not just talking about the whole " dino nerd / jungle boy" dynamic (which is amazing by the way). I'm also talking about how even the way they deal with their problems is really similar. Both of them feel the need of being good enough for saving their friends and both try to repress their trauma deep down, and in Ben's case, he even creates a whole persona (jungle boy) for helping him on doing so.

They both have a connection with dinosaurs.

They both give me ADHD / Autistic vibes. And obviously that makes me like them even more

They feel more vulnerable around each other in a lot of scenes. Sometimes they just feel slightly more vulnerable and sometimes is the most explicit thing ever. It feels like they can't hide themselves in the other's presence, not totally.
