Inspired by the Japanese Furoshiki cloth wrapper, I decided to make my crochet version of the Furoshiki bag. My lunch stands out in the work fridge! I work retail so typically they check my bag on the way out so a furoshiki was impractical for my bento box. This bag is good so far - with the smaller bag keeping my glass applesauce jar softened there is no clanking. I think I'm addicted to the #bentobag pattern. That fabulous vintage print is one I found at Goodwill and I made a skirt with it but I wanted it for my #zerowaste lunch kit. For me packing a sustainable and healthy lunch is self care that I need and having a nice lunch set is a good motivator.
