Personal projects as an art student

Hey everyone~ ( ꈍ。 ꈍ )

I am writing this post firstly to apologise for not being super active with original photos and content - I've just be so busy lately but I will step it up after my exams in order to benefit you guys and do my part as a studyblr blog haha

But more importantly, over the past few months, I've felt that if I wanted to be a successful art student (artist/illustrator) I need to step up my game on producing paintings and coming up with personal projects that identify my weaknesses and challenge myself. I've been thinking of a few projects which I would like to start soon and share with everyone so I wanted to ask everyone about their thoughts on this an if it would be okay for me to post my art as well as study content on this blog? (Technically, art is an academic subject.)

So I went ahead on researching about New York City, 1942, Piet Mondrian because I feel so. Many. Feelings. For this piece. I’m usually not an abstract art lover but honestly the image Mondrian puts across is so vivid and lively, it makes my blood boil in a good way.
