Dude!!! I was just thinking about these two the other day! It’s been a while!😅 Well let’s get back into rare-pair city! :D

- Who’s the werewolf and who’s the hunter

I kinda like the idea of both Bertolt and Pieck as werewolves (they’re both titan shifters; see the correlation there? lol) but for the sake of following the rules, we’ll go with Pieck as the werewolf and Bert as the hunter. Pieck’s not your run-of-the-mill scary, mean, bloodthirsty werewolf, but she does get hangry and moody in between shifts. Bertolt helps fend off other monsters and he helps her hunt for food.

- Who’s the mermaid and who’s the fisherman

Pieck is the mermaid, and Bertolt is the fisherman! She gets caught in his fishing net one day, so he helps free her from the tangled mess of rope, and soon a friendship is born.

She fetches him shiny pearls and pretty sea shells as little gifts.

- Who’s the witch and who’s the familiar

Pieck is the witch and Bert is the familiar! She enjoys practicing her craft with him😄 

- Who’s the barista and who’s the coffee addict

Bertolt is the barista and Pieck is the coffee addict. She’s always half asleep when she drags herself into the shop, but seeing Bertolt smile and brew her favorite mocha blend are the best part of her mornings.

She frequents the shop for open mic nights, too. Sometimes she’ll read poetry, other times she’ll sing a tune. It’s always in his honor😂

- Who’s the professor and who’s the TA

Bertolt is the professor and Pieck is the TA. She makes the lunch runs and helps grade papers, while he stresses out over lesson plans and why his projector still keeps glitching out during powerpoint lecture :/

- Who’s the knight and who’s the prince(ss)

Bertolt is definitely the knight and Pieck is the princess.

He’s fought countless battles and faced off with the most daunting of hellish creatures, but it’s the princess that makes him sweat nervously and babble on like a hopeless fool 😂

- Who’s the teacher and who’s the single parent

Bert is the teacher and Pieck is the single parent. They meet at the school’s science fair :)

- Who’s the writer and who’s the editor

Pieck is the writer and Bert is the editor. Bert’s the best the agency had to offer, and Pieck doesn’t trust anyone else with her work. She develops a crush on him over time, although Bert’s oblivious to most of her flirting.
